Senior Homeland Security Advisor: America is an “Islamic Country”
Mohamed Elibiary, a senior Dept. of Homeland Security advisor, tweeted that America is "an Islamic country."
BY RYAN MAURO
Mohamed Elibiary, a senior Dept. of Homeland Security advisor tweeted that "America is an Islamic country."
A senior advisor to the Department of Homeland Security, Mohamed Elibiary, says that America is “an Islamic country” and continues to argue that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals.
Elibiary is a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council and was promoted in September. He also served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Violent Extremism Working Group and the Faith-based Security and Communications Advisory Committee.
He is also a long-time Texas Republican Party official and was a delegate for Senator John McCain in 2008.
On October 31, Elibiary tweeted that he believes the U.S. “is an Islamic country.” You can see the screenshot below:
The tweet was part of a conversation about whether Islam and the U.S. are compatible. Elibiary argued that America has an “Islamically compliant constitution.”
He also reiterated his view that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals and that not all Islamists should be lumped in with jihadists and terrorists.
On October 30, the Clarion Project reported that Elibiary had tweeted that former Egyptian President and Brotherhood ideologue Mohamed Morsi "is Egypt's Mandela" and that the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood is not a security concern.
Clarion also contributed to a 37-page report about Elibiary largely based on a lengthy interview with him. We have summarized the 15 most disturbing facts from the report.
One shocking finding is that Elibiary has been close friends with Shukri Abu Baker, the CEO of the Holy Land Foundation, since the age of 16. The Foundation was a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity that was shut down by the U.S. government in 2001. Abu Baker was convicted of financing the terrorist organization Hamas.
Elibiary opposes the prosecution of Abu Baker and the Holy Land Foundation and said that he has helped “safeguard” other Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations that faced possible prosecution.
Remarkably, not a single mainstream media outlet has covered this story. Few members of Congress have raised the matter. It’s up to American citizens to educate them. We encourage readers to send this article and our 15 disturbing facts about Elibiary to their congressmen and to share it on Facebook and Twitter.

This guy wasnt able to find any muslim nation tolerant to non muslims as asked by the twitter OP, so he decided on his own to turn America into an Islamic nation.
Which shows us, the day God forbid America becomes Muslim, it will stop being tolerant!

A new list reveals the vast network of Islamist influence groups in America.
by Raymond Ibrahim
El Watan, one of Egypt’s most widely circulated and read newspapers, published a report discussing the Muslim Brotherhood’s influence over the United States, especially in the context of inciting pro-Brotherhood policies against Egypt’s popular June 30 Revolution, which resulted in the ousting of Muhammad Morsi and the Brotherhood from power.
Titled (in translation), “With Names, Identities, and Roadmap… El Watan Exposes Brotherhood Cells in America,” it’s written by investigative journalist Ahmed al-Tahiri, who begins the report by saying:
In the context of El Watan’s ongoing investigation concerning the Brotherhood’s cells and lobby inside America that support the regime of the ousted [Morsi], and which intensified their activities to attack and defame the June 30 Revolution, informed sources have disclosed to El Watan newspaper the names and cell entities of the Brotherhood and their roadmap of activities all throughout the United States of America.El Watan then goes on to name names, saying that the following activists and entities are Brotherhood operatives working within the United States (reproduced verbatim):
• Union of Egyptian Imams in North America, represented by Sheikh Muhammad al-Bani
• The Egyptian American Foundation for Development
• Dr. Khalid Lamada, New York
• Dr. Hassan al-Sayah, Virginia
• The Egyptian Network in America, led by Dr. Muhammad Helmi
• Dr. Akram al-Zand, Sa’ad Foundation
• Muhammad al-Khashab, Head of ART channels in America
• Sameh al-Henawi, member, Business Association of America
• Dr. Hany Saqr, member, Egyptian Association in America
• Dr. Khalid Hassan, Maryland
• Dr. Muhammad Abdel Hakem, Seattle
• Dr. Ahmed Ismat al-Bendari, President, Islamic Society of America
• Walid Yusari, Chicago
• Ahmed Shadid, New Jersey
• Ahmed al-Hatab, Indiana
• Dr. Muhammad Morjan, Boston
• Ramadan Ridwan, Houston
• Ahmed Fayez, Las Vegas
• Dr. Amru Abbas, member, Egyptian Foundation in Michigan
• Dr. Safi al-Din Hamed, Pennsylvania
• Dr. Hamdy Radwan, North Carolina
• Ahmed Shehata, Director, Egyptian American Organization for Democracy and Human Rights
• Dr. Iman Shehata, New York
• Dr. Muhammad Amru Attawiya, member, Organization of Islamic Relief in the United States
• Dr. Khalid al-Sayes, member, Rebuilding of Egypt Foundation
• Dr. Tariq Hussein, member, American Islamic Relations Council (CAIR)
• Dr Hisham al-Gayar, member, Egyptian Foundation, Michigan
• Amin Mahmoud, Maryland
As a most recent example, El Watan quotes from an American op-ed published on October 16 (just two days before the publication of the El Watan report itself). Titled “Egypt: 100 days later” and written by Ahmed Shehata of the Egyptian American Organization for Democracy and Human Rights, the piece appeared in The Hill, the Capitol’s most widely circulated newspaper, published specifically for Congress.
The op-ed is certainly a prime example of pro-Muslim Brotherhood propaganda that actually tries to “shame” U.S. policymakers into returning the Brotherhood back to power in the name of “democracy.”
Key excerpts follow:
While the U.S. must consider its own interests in the region, it is baffling and disheartening to think the current administration would choose to discount the suffering that continues to occur on a daily basis as well as the complete violation of democratic principles which it espouses to the rest of the world…. As this past week marked 100 days since the coup and the lives of the Egyptian people continue to be sacrificed, the United States cannot be silent any longer for the sake of their own interests and convenience…. To that end, Egypt represents a golden opportunity for the U.S. to uphold democratic values by pushing for the reinstatement of the democratically elected government, despite their shortcomings. This would aid tremendously in showing the world that, above any one particular physical interest, stands the mantle of freedom and the rule of law.Anyone familiar with the real happenings of Egypt knows that Shehata’s assertions are complete opposites of the truth: the military ousted the Brotherhood in response to the will of millions of Egyptians—the people, the demos, as in democracy—who took to the streets protesting against the totalitarian Morsi government. Moreover, it is the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters who have been committing numerous human rights atrocities—including the slaughter and persecution of Christians, the torture and murder of many Egyptians (including before the revolution), and the destruction and torching of some 85 Christian churches.
Shehata seems to think that, if the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters terrorize, murder, destroy, persecute, and betray their nation—which is precisely why tens of millions of average Egyptians rose up against them (though you might not know that following Al Jazeera-led Western media that distorted the popularity of the revolution)—as long as they won “elections” (which from the start many authorities insisted they didn’t), then that is all that matters; and, if need be, the U.S. must war with Egypt’s military and people on behalf of the ousted terrorists—all in the name of “democracy” and “human rights,” as Shehata’s U.S.-based Brotherhood front is laughably called.
That such a shameless piece of Muslim Brotherhood propaganda can be published in the most influential and widely read Capitol Hill publication certainly goes a long way in validating El Watan’s claims that the Brotherhood has its tentacles all around the United States’ points of influence.

Mohamed Elibiary Declares Victory Over the Constitution
Mohamed Elibiary Declares Victory Over the Constitution
A terror-linked homeland security advisor claims the U.S. is already Islam-compliant.
by Robert Spencer
In his 2002 letter to the American people explaining why he perpetrated the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden asked, “What are we calling you to, and what do we want from you?,” and then immediately answered his own question: “The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam.” Wednesday his coreligionist Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, declared victory: “I do consider the United States of America an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution.”
It could be a canny new Homeland Security strategy: end the jihad against the U.S. by surrendering to it. If Elibiary can convince the Islamic jihadists who are waging jihad warfare against the United States that America is already “an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution,” they will have nothing left to fight for, at least against us, since the goal of jihad is to impose Islamic law wherever possible, and ultimately over the world entire.
In retrospect, then, Janet Napolitano’s tabbing of Elibiary for the DHS Advisory Council, much as I criticized it at the time, looks like a genius move. The amount of money that the U.S. will save on security costs will be enough in itself to save the economy, and Obama will at least be able to make good on his 2008 campaign promises to mend relations with the Islamic world. It’s peace in our time!
There are still a few things to iron out. Will America as an Islamic country be Sunni or Shi’ite? Whichever one Elibiary and his colleagues choose, they will need to be careful to maintain friendly relations, insofar as it is possible, with the spurned party. After all, if America becomes a Sunni state, Iran might be angered by failing to gain as a Shi’ite partner the powerful nation that Barack Obama already described several years ago as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world” – and an angry Iran could be dangerous. The same, of course, can be said of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan if the U.S. goes Shi’ite.
Also: will the payment of the jizya, the poll tax that the Qur’an (9:29) demands be paid by the subjugated non-Muslims, be written into the existing tax code, or will it become a new layer of the Washington bureaucracy, bringing with it a new raft of forms for beleaguered American taxpayers, and a new raft of thorny problems for H & R Block? And what of the same verse’s command that the subjugated people display “willing submission” to the Muslims, and “feel themselves subdued”? A huge new bureaucratic apparatus will be needed to ensure that non-Muslims are denied equality of rights with Muslims in every way possible, and the civil rights community will have to turn on a dime to trying to secure equal rights for all citizens to working to deny them for non-Muslims and women.
This will take some doing. Will a cabinet-level Department of the Dhimma be established, perhaps with Elibiary himself as its first Secretary?
Elibiary would certainly protest that all this wasn’t what he meant. The point he was making was substantially that of the Ground Zero Mosque Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, who has claimed that the U.S. Constitution and government are already Sharia-compliant, because – he claims – the Constitution and Islamic law reflect the same values and principles. “The only truly clashing area,” Rauf has claimed, “is the penal code, and no Muslim has the intention of introducing that to America. The penal code is the area that people in the Western world are worried about – but these are things that aren’t even observed today in most of the Muslim world. Apart from the Taliban and a few places like that, where do you see this happening?”
Well, Brunei, which has just introduced Sharia punishments such as stoning for adultery, amputation for theft, and flogging for homosexuality; Yemen and Nigeria, where thieves were recently sentenced to amputation; and everywhere else where Sharia is fully implemented. But in any case, the claim of Elibiary and Rauf that aside from these punishments the U.S. is essentially Sharia-compliant already depends on its hearers being ignorant of Sharia’s institutionalized discrimination against women and non-Muslims, its denial of the freedom of speech and the freedom of conscience, and more.
Elibiary is not ignorant of those things. On the contrary, his record is illuminating of his real agenda. Investigative journalist Charles C. Johnson noted several weeks ago in the Daily Caller that Elibiary was “an old friend of an activist who was convicted in 2008 of financing the terrorist organization Hamas. In an interview with The Daily Caller, Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, reiterated claims he made this summer that former Holy Land Foundation president and CEO Shukri Abu Baker is innocent and a victim of political persecution. Elibiary, who in his position on the council has regular access to classified information, also said the United States insults Muslim dignity and compared the Muslim Brotherhood to American evangelicals.”
Counter-terror researcher Patrick Poole reported at PJ Media in 2011 that “Elibiary may have been given access to a sensitive database of state and local intelligence reports, and then allegedly shopped some of those materials to a media outlet.” According to Poole, Elibiary approached “a left-leaning media outlet” with reports marked For Official Use Only that he said demonstrated rampant “Islamophobia” in the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The media outlet declined to do a story, but what was Elibiary doing shopping them Official Use Only documents in the first place?
Poole checked with Steve McCraw, Director of the Texas DPS, who “confirmed that Elibiary has access to the Homeland Security State and Local Intelligence Community of Interest (HS SLIC) database, which contains hundreds of thousands of intelligence reports and products that are intended for intelligence sharing between law enforcement agencies.” Said McCraw of Elibiary: “We know that he has accessed DPS documents and downloaded them.”
There have been questions about Elibiary’s true allegiances for years. He was one of the speakers at a December 2004 conference in Dallas titled “A Tribute to the Great Islamic Visionary.” The visionary in question was none other than the founding father of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ayatollah Khomeini.
When I questioned him about his appearance at such a conference, Elibiary claimed that he hadn’t known what kind of conference it was going to be, although he didn’t explain why he went ahead and appeared there anyway once he found out. Among those who found this explanation wanting was journalist Rod Dreher of the Dallas Morning News, whose skepticism angered Elibiary. The great moderate subsequently threatened Dreher, telling him: “Expect someone to put a banana in your exhaust pipe.”
Yet despite all this, Elibiary still got his appointment to the DHS Advisory Council, and was even recently promoted. Mohamed Elibiary has risen as far as he has without ever being properly vetted because government and law enforcement officials, and the media, are so avid to find a moderate Muslim who will stand against Islamic jihad terrorism that they will accept virtually anyone’s claim to be just that, no questions asked.
And now he has declared victory for the jihad, and proclaimed that the U.S. is an “Islamic country.” Osama bin Laden would have been so proud.

Obama Accused of ‘Crimes Against Humanity’ at International Criminal Court
Obama Accused of ‘Crimes Against Humanity’ at International Criminal Court
An accessory to the Brotherhood?
by Raymond Ibrahim
According to Egyptian newspaper El Watan, a group of Egyptian lawyers has submitted a complaint charging U.S. president Barrack Hussein Obama with crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court.
The complaint charges Obama of being an accessory to the Muslim Brotherhood, which incited widespread violence in Egypt both before and after the June 30 Revolution.
Along with Obama, the complaint reproduced by El Watan mentions several Brotherhood members by name, beginning with the leader of the organization Muhammad Badie, and other top ranking leaders such as Mohamed al-Beltagy, Essam al-Erian, and Safwat Hegazi, adding that “Obama cooperated, incited, and assisted the armed elements of the Muslim Brotherhood in the commission of crimes against humanity in the period from 3/7/2013-8/18/2013, in the Arab Republic of Egypt.”
According to the published text, the complaint begins by quoting Article 7/1 of the Statute of the International Criminal Court, titled “Crimes against humanity,” which is reproduced below:
Crimes against humanity
1. For the purpose of this Statute, “crime against humanity” means any of the following acts when committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population, with knowledge of the attack:
(d) Deportation or forcible transfer of population;
(e) Imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty in violation of fundamental rules of international law;
(g) Rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization, or any other form of sexual violence of comparable gravity;
(h) Persecution against any identifiable group or collectivity on political, racial, national, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender as defined in paragraph 3, or other grounds that are universally recognized as impermissible under international law, in connection with any act referred to in this paragraph or any crime within the jurisdiction of the Court;
(i) Enforced disappearance of persons;
(j) The crime of apartheid;
(k) Other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health.
Next, the complaint shows how Muslim Brotherhood leadership violated some of the above definitions, for example, by torturing, mutilating, raping, and killing Egyptians in their “sit in” camps (first reported here), with a highlight on the role the Brotherhood played in inciting violence and the killing of peaceful protesters around Itthadiya Palace back in December.
Above and beyond the accusations of crimes against humanity that the lawyer-drafted complaint cited by El Watan levels against the Brotherhood, one need only look to the fate of Egypt’s Christian minority, who were especially targeted by the Muslim Brotherhood—and thus, by extension, their supporter, Obama—to see numerous examples of nearly every aforementioned definition of crimes against humanity, as follows:
Religious Persecution and Apartheid (see h and j)
Right after Morsi was ousted, the Muslim Brotherhood, including its supreme leader, Muhammad Badie, and its spiritual leader, Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, as well as several of the other Brotherhood members mentioned in the complaint, publicly scapegoated the Christian minority for daring to support the popular June 30 Revolution (that is, for acting like equal citizens as opposed to cowed dhimmis as required by Islamic law). The aftermath of the atrocities committed against the Copts are well known (to those who do not exclusively rely on the so-called mainstream media), and include the torching, destroying, and plundering of at some 85 churches, some of which were ancient. Islam’s back flag was raised above some churches; anti-Christian graffiti littered the sides of other churches and Coptic homes.
Murder and Extermination (see a and b)
Among many others to be murdered in response to Brotherhood-incitement against the Copts, a ten-year-old girl was shot and killed while walking back from Bible class. In the Sinai, a young Coptic priest was shot dead in front of his church, while the body of another Copt was found mutilated and beheaded. Four other Christians were slaughtered by Muslims in Luxor province. Most recently, a church wedding was attacked, leaving, among others, two girls, aged eight and twelve, dead and riddled with bullets.
As for “extermination,” the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters have long been threatening the Copts with annihilation if they ever opposed them. Back in December 2012, Safwat Hegazi (a leading Brotherhood member named in the complaint, publicly declared during a Brotherhood rally:
A message to the church of Egypt, from an Egyptian Muslim: I tell the church—by Allah, and again, by Allah—if you conspire and unite with the remnants [opposition] to bring Morsi down, that will be another matter [screams of "Allah Akbar!" followed by chants of "With our soul, with our blood, we give to you, O Islam!"]… [T]here are red lines—and our red line is the legitimacy of Dr. Muhammad Morsi. Whoever splashes water on it, we will splash blood on him” [followed by more wild shouts of "Allah Akbar!"]Around the same time, and more to the point, Dr. Wagdi Ghoneim—another vocal Brotherhood agitator who earlier praised Allah for the death of the late Coptic Pope Shenouda, cursing him to hell and damnation in a video he posted on YouTube—made another video telling Egypt’s Christians:
You are playing with fire in Egypt, I swear, the first people to be burned by the fire are you [Copts].” … The day Egyptians—and I don’t even mean the Muslim Brotherhood or Salafis, regular Egyptians—feel that you are against them, you will be wiped off the face of the earth. I’m warning you now: do not play with fire!… What do you think—that America will protect you? Let’s be very clear, America will not protect you. If so, it would have protected the Christians of Iraq when they were being butchered!Ghoneim’s words have proven prophetic—an indicator that this Egyptian hatemongering sheikh, who was expelled under Hosni Mubarak, knows the conduct of America’s leadership better than most Americans. Along with Iraq’s and Egypt’s Christians, he could have mentioned the Christians of Syria as well, who are being decimated thanks to Obama’s support for al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorists, AKA, “freedom fighters.”
Deportation, Extortion, Kidnapping, and General Abuse of Copts (see c, d, e, f, g, and i)
Since the Muslim Brotherhood publicly denounced the Copts, entire towns and villages have been emptied of Christians—for example, more than 100 Christian families from El Arish. After mentioning the mass destruction of churches during a recent conference, and speaking of a different incident, Dr. Sherif Doss, an Egyptian activist, said, “But worst of all, about 140 families were evicted from their own homes; and worse still is that, not only were they thrown out of their houses, but their shops and properties were robbed and destroyed… General Sisi has promised to rebuild the churches and this takes time to be done. But we can’t wait all that time for those people destitute and in the streets, with no place to live and nowhere to work…. These people are in a very bad condition. If you go and see these villages, you will be amazed—it is as if a nuclear bomb exploded there. People burned and plundered their homes without mercy.”
Similarly, Muslim Brotherhood supporters are extorting Copts, rationalized in the context of making them pay jizya—the money, or tribute, that conquered non-Muslims historically had to pay to their Islamic overlords “with willing submission and while feeling themselves subdued” to safeguard their existence, as indicated in Koran 9:29. For instance, the roughly 15,000 Christian Copts of Dalga village in south Minya province were recently forced to pay jizya. In some cases, those not able to pay were attacked, their wives and children beaten and/or kidnapped. As a result, some 40 Christian families had fled Dalga, joining the ever growing list of displaced Christians in the Middle East.
Days before the June 30 Revolution, letters addressed to the Copts threatened them not to join the protests against Morsi, otherwise their “businesses, cars, homes, schools, and churches” might “catch fire”—which of course they all did. The message concluded by saying “If you are not worried about any of these, then worry about your children and your homes.”
Such threats, as mentioned, were hardly limited to anonymous letters. During a TV interview, Sheikh Essam Abdulamek, a then member of parliament’s Shura Council, warned Egypt’s Christians against participating in the June 30 Revolution against Morsi, threatening them by saying “Do not sacrifice your children” since “general Muslim opinion will not be silent about the ousting of the president [Morsi].”
And the children of Copts have certainly been targeted—both during and after Morsi’s tenure. Some, especially young girls, are regularly abducted, raped, and shamed into converting to Islam and “marrying” their rapists. Coptic boys have increasingly been abducted from the doorsteps of their churches and held for ransom. Recently, a 6-year-old Christian boy was murdered by his kidnapper—after the boy’s family paid the ransom. (Read more about the jihad on Egypt’s Christian children.)
——In short, by simply focusing on the plight of Egypt’s Christians, almost every criterion found under the category of “crimes against humanity”—including murder, extermination, deportation, torture, rape, disappearance, apartheid and religious persecution—are met.
Only one is necessary for the charge to stick.
As for the Obama administration’s support for the Brotherhood, if most Americans are clueless or indifferent about it, average Egyptians have long known and resented it—hence the many large placards and signs held during the June 30 Revolution calling on Obama to stop supporting terrorism and calling on Americans to wake up.
One need only follow the words and deeds of Anne Patterson, John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Hillary Clinton, et. al. to know that the U.S president is a firm supporter of the crimes-against-humanity-committing Muslim Brotherhood.
Of course, whatever the merits of El Watan’s report—here is another English-language article talking about apparently a different complaint of crimes against humanity leveled against Obama by Coptic activists—all these complaints seem futile, as the U.S. is not a signatory to the International Criminal Court.
However, all technicalities aside, the facts are clear: by any definition, the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters have committed numerous crimes against humanity in Egypt, especially in the context of the Christian Copts; and by its ongoing support for the Brotherhood, the Obama administration is complicit. Remember this next time the Obama administration cites concerns about “human rights” violations as reason to involve the U.S. in war—as it recently tried to do in Syria, again, to support more Islamic terrorists who are committing even worse crimes against humanity.

Al-Qaeda’s Jihad Supported by Muslim Brotherhood
Al-Qaeda’s Jihad Supported by Muslim Brotherhood
New revelations from the leader of al-Qaeda.
by Raymond Ibrahim
While some are convinced that the various Islamic organizations are discreet and disparate phenomena with divergent goals, once again information appears indicating that, all semantics aside, they are better viewed as branches emanating from one root — branches that complement and work with one another for the same goal: the empowerment of Islam, whether through jihad or suits and smiley faces.
Many are aware that the current al-Qaeda leader, the Egyptian Ayman Zawahiri is a former Brotherhood member (read here); yet few know that the original al-Qaeda leader, the Saudi (and “Wahhabi”) Osama bin Laden was also a Brotherhood member. While Zawahiri made as much clear in a recent video, more interestingly, he indicated that the Brotherhood also supported bin Laden’s jihad.
In Zawahiri’s words:
Sheikh Osama used to say: “I was evicted from my organization. Although I was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood organization, I was rejected by the organizations.” Sheikh Osama bin Laden was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood group in the Arabian Peninsula. After the Russian invasion in Afghanistan, he immediately went to Pakistan to make the acquaintance of and work with the mujahidin. The group of Islamists gave him instructions to remain in Lahore to orchestrate aid; yet he was not to leave Lahore, but remain there and they would deliver aid and relief and he decide how to use it.Interesting here is Zawahiri’s use of the term “the group of Islamists.” While some may think this is a reference to al-Gam’a al-Islamiyya of Egypt — literally, “the Islamic Organization” — based on the context of his discussion, it is clear that Zawahiri is generically referring to the Muslim Brotherhood, as in that “group of Islamists.”
This only further confirms what recent events, especially in Egypt, demonstrate — that the Muslim Brotherhood is an inciter and supporter of the jihad around the world, also known in the West as “terrorism” — and that ousted president Morsi was in league with al-Qaeda.

The secretary doesn’t agree with Obama’s team, especially Susan Rice, on how to deal with Egypt. Unfortunately for Rice, Kerry is the one on the ground—and he’s doing things his way. Before Secretary of State John Kerry’s recent trip to Cairo, National Security Adviser Susan Rice told him to make strong statements in public and private about the trial of deposed President Mohamed Morsi. On his own, Kerry decided to disregard the White House’s instructions. What a surprise.
Georgetown’s Interfaith Sham
Georgetown’s Interfaith Sham
Nazis, 9/11 Truthers and Muslim Brotherhood
by Ryan Mauro
Georgetown University’s Saudi-funded interfaith center is in hot water. A speaking engagement with an Egyptian Nazi was cancelled but Islamists need not worry: Muslim Brotherhood supporters and 9/11 Truthers are still welcome, as is a senior Obama Administration official allied with the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.
The Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding is led by Dr. John Esposito, arguably the strongest non-Muslim defender of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network. It receives significant Saudi funding, such as a $20 million donation in 2005.
On November 21, it held its 20th annual conference themed, “Muslim-Christian Relations in the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities.” The chairman of the first panel was Natana DeLong-Bas, a known 9/11 Truther.
She said in 2006, “I do not find any evidence that would make me agree that Osama Bin Laden was behind the attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.” She is also a defender of Wahhabism, one of the most tyrannical practices of Islam, and disagrees that it bears responsibility for inspiring the 9/11 attacks.
DeLong-Bas also says that the Hamas terrorist group is a better promoter of democracy and human rights in the Middle East than the U.S. government. She says American efforts do “not rise to the level of what Hamas has achieved,” complimenting their work in health care and education.
One of the speakers on her panel was Dalia Mogahed, a former senior advisor to President Obama. She is the Executive Director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies.
She has been described as possibly “the most influential figure guiding the Obama Administration’s Middle East oureach.” One of the reasons she supports the Syrian rebels is because Bashar Assad “cannot deliver…resistance to Israel.”
She and Esposito authored the 2007 paper that downplayed the extent of extremist beliefs in the Muslim world. She spoke at the 34th annual convention of the Islamic Circle of North America and was booked as a speaker for 15th annual fundraiser for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
She said in 2008 that the criticism of groups like CAIR is part of a “concerted effort to silence, you know, institution-building among Muslims. And the way to do it is [to] malign these groups. And it’s kind of a witch hunt.” She also believes that “[Islamophobia] presents a grave danger to America as a whole.”
Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim congressman, was invited to speak on the panel but did not attend. He is a close friend of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network. His pilgrimage to Mecca was sponsored by the Muslim American Society.
The Center also scheduled an event on December 5 named “Egypt and the Struggle for Democracy.” It is delayed to January 30 because of delays in getting visas for some Egyptian speakers.
Balance isn’t the event’s objective. None of the speakers are opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood. Mogahed and Rep. Ellison are both scheduled to speak.
The Washington Free Beacon pointed out that most of the other speakers are known supporters of the Brotherhood. For example, Dr. AbdulMawgoud Dardery is a former member of Egypt’s parliament for the Brotherhood. Wael Haddara used to be a top aide to Mohammed Morsi and Mohamed Abbas is a Brotherhood backer.
The speaker representing Egypt’s Coptic Christian minority was Ramy Jan, a member of the country’s Nazi Party. He is a Brotherhood supporter that leads Christians Against the Coup. No segment of Egyptian society is more anti-Islamist than the Christians, but that’s not the impression you’d get from the event.
He was disinvited after attention was brought to his background. Esposito pleads ignorance.
Georgetown University has a history of affiliations with Islamists.
It was discovered two years ago that in 2006-2007, the Organization of the Islamic Conference plotted to fund the Center with $325,000 to put on an event about “Islamophobia.” The international organization is pushing hard for laws that restrict freedom of speech to stop alleged anti-Muslim sentiment. The money was to be routed through CAIR, specifically its executive director, Nihad Awad.
The Muslim chaplain of Georgetown University is Imam Yahya Hendi. In 2003, he testified on behalf of Sami al-Arian, who was convicted for being a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group. He stated that suicide bombings are permissible under Islam during his questioning.
The Center’s conferences often bring together Islamists from around the world. It has also jointly sponsored events with the International Institute for Islamic Thought, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.
One of the Center’s Common Word Fellows is Louay Safi, the Executive Director of IIIT from 1995 to 1997 and the IIIT Director of Research from 1999 to 2003. He was also the President of the Associaiton of Muslim Social Scientists from 1999 to 2003, another U.S. Muslim Brotherhood front that shares an address with IIIT.
Safi was also the Director of Leadership Development for the Islamic Society of North America. He was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of Sami Al-Arian. He is also intimately involved with Syrian Islamists.
In 1988, the FBI had a spy inside the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network that explicitly warned about the IIIT’s plans to infiltrate the U.S. government and universities to “institute the Islamic Revolution in America.” A Clarion Project research report shows that IIIT has had success in this endeavor.
The recent reporting on Georgetown University’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding shows that the Muslim Brotherhood never quit its plan to influence American academia.

Ex-Secret Service agent: Obama feels need to defend Islamofascists due to shared belief in authoritarianism
Dec. 3, 2013
In an interview conducted with Blaze Books prior to the release of his now New York Times bestselling book, Life Inside the Bubble, former presidential Secret Service agent Dan Bongino held no punches, unloading on President Obama and a slew of other targets.
Dan Bongino (Photo: Wikimedia)
His central message on the president: Barack Obama is “married to redistribution as a fundamental economic theory and this whole idea that government is a weapon not a service-oriented function … a means to enforce an end, [such] that the politics to him are irrelevant.”
Perhaps more chillingly, with respect to Obama’s embrace of the Arab Spring and public support for movements that toppled former allied leaders in the region over the last several years, Bongino believes that Obama sees an “endgame … that they [the hard left and Islamofascists] can align on … as a matter of the heavy-handed top-down authoritarianism that they both share in common, and … that’s why the default is to defend them.”
Bongino also had plenty of criticism for the National Security Agency, the national security bureaucracy, the mainstream media and even fellow Republicans. Some of the other highlights can be found below, but be sure to check out Blaze Books for the full, no holds-barred interview, as well as our review of Life Inside the Bubble.
On Hillary Clinton and Benghazi: “Not only is government inefficient, and is it bankrupting you, it’s actually killing you. The explosive growth in the bureaucracy has allowed people at the highest levels to make decisions based purely on politics, not on your safety … So in Benghazi, when four Americans die due to political decision-making, not security decision-making, that cost four American patriots their lives, Mrs. Clinton can get up there and say “What difference does it make?”
On which of the scandals during the Obama administration is the biggest: “The NSA scandal is a debacle and scandal is an inadequate word because this should be public enemy number one right now, scandal-wise, out of all of the scandals”
On media cries of racism when it comes to criticism of the president: [The media outcry is] “just so inauthentic and pollutes the political process to such an extent … I don’t really even think the media understands … the damage they are doing to the fabric of America.”
On the president’s handling of the government shutdown: “The president of the United States used your tax dollars to pay people who work for you to keep you out of your memorials.”
On his 2012 campaign for U.S. senator of Maryland against incumbent Democrat Ben Cardin: “I had as many fights with Republicans as I did with Democrats.”

Morsi Trial Expected to expose Obama’s ties to Muslim Brotherhood
Morsi Trial Expected to expose Obama’s ties to Muslim Brotherhood
By Ali Al Sharnoby
Cairo, Egypt--Former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s trial begins on Monday November 4th, (Valentine’s day in Egypt), and intel rumors are rife that the trial will prove President Barack Obama’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
If former Chief of Egyptian Intelligence Murad Muwafi, can prove Morsi’s agreement to the presence of terrorists in Egypt and providing them with protection, he will be executed for the crime of high treason.
Egyptian intelligence had begun spying on and recording the telephone calls of ousted President Morsi after it was discovered that he was leaking information to Palestinian Hamas and jihadi groups in efforts to sabotage the Egyptian Army’s efforts to eliminate terrorism in the Sinai Peninsula, mainly the demolition of secret tunnels between Egypt and Gaza, which Hamas was using to smuggle arms, money, drugs and terrorists.
These are the facts Muwafi will present to the trial:
Meanwhile, an Interior Ministry official announced that the trial will be tightly secured—televised like the Mubarak trial—so that Egyptians can witness the events.
Morsi’s trial Judge Ahmed Sabri, said that he’s not been told about the place of the trial so far, and that all the speculation in the media about the trial setting are all based on incorrect rumors.

Al-Arian Resurfaces in New American Brotherhood Campaign
Al-Arian Resurfaces in New American Brotherhood Campaign
December 9, 2013
A new group advocating for the restoration of Muslim Brotherhood power in Egypt held a briefing on Capitol Hill Thursday. It is part of a series of events calling for "restoring democracy to Egypt."
But like similar efforts before it, the push by the newly-established Egypt Freedom Foundation involves people with ties to Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the United States. And, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned that the event also attracted Sami Al-Arian to the Cannon Office Building on Capitol Hill. Al-Arian is a convicted terrorist-supporting felon who is still under a separate indictment for criminal contempt. Both cases involve his work with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a terrorist group for which Al-Arian served as a board member.
He did not speak during Thursday's briefing, or at a follow-up event at a northern Virginia community college Friday night. But his presence, and his connections to the organizers, indicate that he may be more than a spectator.
Sami Al-Arian arrives for an Egypt Freedom Foundation program in Annandale, Va., Friday night. He attended a similar Capitol Hill briefing Thursday.
The two events featured speakers critical of the Egyptian military for removing President Mohamed Morsi from office July 3, after days of massive street protests that reached historic proportions against his year-old rule. Morsi was the Muslim Brotherhood's candidate in Egypt's 2012 elections.
The speakers at Thursday and Friday's events rejected estimates that 30 million people – from Egypt's population of 80 million – took to the streets calling on Morsi to resign. And they claim that, while Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood made some mistakes in power, they remained reasonably popular but were done in by a campaign of gross media exaggeration and fabricated conspiracies.
Both events were sponsored by the Egypt Freedom Foundation, a new group incorporated in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 1, records show. The only listed officer, Ahmed Bedier, is a former Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) chapter director who still raises money for the group.
CAIR was created in 1994 as part of a Muslim Brotherhood network of Hamas-support organizations, court records show. Hamas is a Palestinian offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Al-Arian also has acknowledged his past membership in the Muslim Brotherhood.
His contempt case has been frozen since 2009. Despite a written promise, U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema has not ruled on pending motions to dismiss the case or let it proceed to trial. Al-Arian has been on house arrest, but in January, Brinkema issued an unsolicited order which greatly reduced restrictions on Al-Arian's activities.
If the case were allowed to go forward, Al-Arian would face prison time if convicted. If he were acquitted, or if the contempt case were dismissed, he would face deportation under terms of his 2006 plea agreement for supporting the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
"The evidence was clear in this case that you were a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad," U.S. District Court Judge James Moody said during Al-Arian's sentencing. "You were on the board of directors and an officer, the secretary. Directors control the actions of an organization, even the PIJ; and you were an active leader."
The Capitol Hill event was promoted on Twitter and attended by Mahdi Bray, former head of the Muslim American Society's political arm. The Muslim American Society has strong roots in the Muslim Brotherhood.
Like Al-Arian, Bray is a convicted felon. Bedier and Bray staunchly defended Al-Arian during his run-ins with the criminal justice system. Bedier testified as a character witness for Al-Arian. Bedier, as the CAIR representative in Tampa, where Al-Arian was tried in 2005, routinely appeared in the media defending him.
Emphasis on Lobbying
During the two events, Bedier took pains to say his new foundation's effort is not about supporting Morsi or the Brotherhood, but "this is about the democratic process" and the damage done by removing a legitimately elected president.
Lobbying Congress to reverse Morsi's ouster is a key element of the Egypt Freedom Foundation's agenda. Bedier made repeated references to meetings with members of the House and Senate last week. "We've been up here all week with this delegation meeting members of Congress, meeting members of the Senate, meeting different think tanks to share with them the perspective," Bedier said at Nova Community College in Annandale, Va. "And imagine this, many of these offices that we went to in Congress, they said, 'you are the first Egyptian group to come visit us. You're the first.'"
An aide to U.S. Rep. Andre Carson, D-Ind., reserved the Cannon Office Building room for Thursday's briefing. And a representative of U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., attended. Bedier indicated they would be visiting his office later.
"We need to have more events on Capitol Hill," Bedier said. "You can't believe how important it is, our presence here."
He blamed the "pro-Israel lobby" for an aggressive push in favor of the military's action which includes portraying a Muslim Brotherhood-controlled Egypt as a potential new theocracy like Iran. "If this was a synagogue or if this was a pro-Israeli event, and even though it has nothing to do with Israel directly – it has to do with Egypt – the hall would be full of pro-Israelis," he said, "because they know how important Egypt is and the Camp David and the peace treaty with Egypt and having a puppet regime in Egypt how important it is for their perceived safety."
Bedier and other speakers also emphasized that they don't want the narrative surrounding their effort to be about Morsi or the Muslim Brotherhood. "This is not a pro-Morsi movement, this is not a pro-Brotherhood awareness campaign," he said Thursday.
But Bedier, Bray and CAIR all have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and the result of "restoring democracy" in Egypt, in their vision, would mean Morsi's reinstatement as president. There was no disagreement among the speakers at either event, and criticism of Morsi's tenure and of Brotherhood actions was scant.
The Egypt Freedom Foundation already has gone to extreme lengths to cast Morsi as more popular than perceived. Mohamed Elmasry, a communications professor at the American University in Cairo, called the Brotherhood Egypt's "largest and most popular group ... undefeated at the polls."
The estimates of tens of millions of protesters against Morsi are bogus, Elmasry said, touching on many of the same themes he spelled out in June, just before Morsi's ouster. Criticism of Morsi's rule and the Brotherhood are gross exaggerations, he said, and the media manipulated popular sentiment by referring to protesters as "the people."
"So my question as an observer was, well who are the Muslim Brotherhood? Are they not too from the people? Are they not a part of the nation [noise over word]? Mohamed Morsi had an approval rating somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 percent in the period right before this military coup," Elmasry said.
While a student at the University of Iowa, Elmasry served as executive director and spokesman for a newly established Muslim American Society chapter.
First Attempt at Advocacy Backfired
The Egypt Freedom Foundation seems to be responsible for inviting a member of Egypt's Nazi Party to a recent Georgetown University event on Egypt and democracy. Ramy Jan would have been the only Coptic Christian on the panel, which by itself was unusual since Copts overwhelmingly supported Morsi's ouster. Critics said that exposed conference organizers are seeking advocacy, rather than analysis.
Jan's invitation was withdrawn after critics challenged it and the event has been postponed.
In breaking the story, the Washington Free Beacon reported that Georgetown officials declined to comment, and "directed a reporter to contact event organizers at the Egypt Freedom Foundation, which did not respond to several requests for comment."
Its emphasis on democracy and minimization of Muslim Brotherhood support is similar to protests American Islamists have held since July.
Many were organized by a group called Egyptian Americans for Democracy and Human Rights (EADHR). EADHR officials have numerous ties to Muslim Brotherhood groups and their supporters in the United States. EADHR co-founder Akram Elzend attended the briefing and asked the panel a question.
The Egypt Freedom Foundation attracted about 30 people to a follow-up event Friday at Nova Community College in Annandale, Va. Yet another session was held Sunday at the Mosque Foundation outside of Chicago. The mosque that raised $50,000 for Al-Arian's defense in 2004 was described by the Chicago Tribune as home to leaders "who have condemned Western culture, praised Palestinian suicide bombers and encouraged members to view society in stark terms: Muslims against the world."
Imam Kifah Mustapha was a paid fundraiser for the Hamas-support network described earlier, and Imam Jamal Said was named by prosecutors as a member of the network, which was known as the Palestine Committee.
The event featured Tariq Ramadan, an Islamist intellectual and the grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna.
The Mosque Foundation program is co-sponsored by the Muslim American Society (MAS) chapter in Chicago. MAS has been identified as the Muslim Brotherhood's overt arm in America, a connection confirmed by Aburrahman Alamoudi – once one of the nation's most influential Islamists – in a statement to federal investigators.
Bray previously ran the MAS political arm.
Bedier's stake in Egypt's future may be more personal. His brother Amir was shot and killed by Egyptian authorities in August during a violent crackdown on Brotherhood protest camps in Cairo. In a Twitter post last month, Ahmed Bedier wrote that his brother "supported Morsi but wasn't MB [and] was there that night to help victims."
But it wasn't the first time Amir Bedier was shot during a Muslim Brotherhood protest. He was shot in the neck during violent clashes outside Egypt's presidential palace a year ago. Thousands of Egyptians marched on the palace, forcing Morsi to flee, to protest proposals giving him unchecked executive power.
Then, as in the fatal August encounter, Ahmed Bedier denied his brother's presence was due to any Muslim Brotherhood allegiance. Rather, he was a volunteer tending to the wounded: "While dragging away a wounded man, Amir himself was shot in the head," reported Tampa's Creative Loafing. "He survived, but the bullet remains embedded in the back of his neck."
According to a New York Times account, the violence broke out "after Islamist supporters of President Mohamed Morsi attacked protesters camped outside the gates of the presidential palace." Other reports indicated there was evidence Muslim Brotherhood operatives tortured their opponents.
On Friday, Bedier said his brother spent weeks in Rabaa Al Adaweya, where Muslim Brotherhood members camped out in protest of Morsi's ouster. Amir invited Ahmed to visit the protest camps. Ahmed Bedier painted an idyllic picture of those camps Friday night, saying Egyptians of all backgrounds joined together, creating an "almost festive atmosphere" that featured everything from barber shops and grocery stores to a cell phone shop.
He said he saw no weapons or harassment.
But videotape shows that people within the Brotherhood camp were armed, and the Brotherhood sanctioned attacks on Coptic Christian churches.
Bedier solicited donations Friday night for his new Egyptian campaign, telling the audience they could send money to his tax-exempt charity, United Voices, which is supposed to be dedicated to increasing political activity among Muslims and other minorities. "And the project that we're working on now specifically is to train young Egyptian Americans to be able to organize and work towards the restoration of democracy in Egypt," he said.
Engaging in political activities within the United States, such as meeting with members of Congress to advocate friendly positions, on behalf of a foreign organization such as the Muslim Brotherhood, requires that an organization engaged in such efforts register with the Attorney General of the United States under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
Records do not identify the Egypt Freedom Foundation being registered in the FARA Unit of the Department of Justice.
“My Administration is Proud to be Your Partner”, Obama Tells Muslim Brotherhood
“My Administration is Proud to be Your Partner”, Obama Tells Muslim Brotherhood Pro-Hamas Group
Finally, something we can believe.
Obama taped a statement congratulating ISNA, an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas Holy Land funding case, on its anniversary, telling the Muslim Brotherhood terror-linked front group, “My administration is proud to be your partner.”
ISNA’s president had met twice with Obama and Valerie Jarrett, making this a high end meeting. And Jarrett had addressed the ISNA convention back in 2009.
“Muslim Americans are integral part of our character and history and we rely on your innovation and entrepreneurship to help keep moving this country forward,” Obama told ISNA members. “Over the last half century, you have upheld the proud legacy of American Muslims’ contributions to our national fabric and this gathering is a testament of that tradition.”
The timing for Obama’s shameless flattery is rather poor as it directs attention to his plans for fighting a war on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria and his repeated attempts to pressure the Egyptian government to restore the Muslim Brotherhood to power in that country.
ISNA is a notorious Muslim Brotherhood front group and while its mother organization back in Egypt is burning churches, Obama praised ISNA for its interfaith activities, saying, “I am especially grateful for the work that ISNA has done to advance interfaith understanding and cooperation here in home and around the world.”
“So thank you ISNA for your tireless advocacy and commitment to America that realizes the full potential of all its people,” Obama said.
Speakers at the terror-linked group’s convention that Barack Hussein Obama was praising, include Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Co-Founder of Zaytuna College, and Muslim Brotherhood scion Tariq Ramadan who defended stoning women to death.
Shaykh Hamza Yusuf said of the United States “[America] a country that has little to be proud of in its past and less to be proud of in the present. I am a citizen of this country not by choice but by birth.
“I reside in this country not by choice but by conviction in attempting to spread the message of Islam in this country. I became Muslim in part because I did not believe in the false gods of this society whether we call them Jesus or democracy or the Bill of Rights.”
Two days before September 11, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf addressed a benefit dinner for a Muslim cop-killer sponsored by Al-Talib Magazine, which praised Osama bin Laden, and announced, “This country [America] unfortunately has a great, a great tribulation coming to it. And much of it is already here, yet people are too to illiterate to read the writing on the wall.”
Unfortunately it still is. Even when the writing comes in the form of a video.

America Ripe for Muslim Brotherhood’s Agenda?
America Ripe for Muslim Brotherhood’s Agenda?
By Erick Stakelbeck
WASHINGTON -- The Muslim Brotherhood is a well-known and powerful force throughout the Islamic world.
In recent years, it's turned its attention to America and communities here that are ripe for its radical agenda.
CBN News recently spoke with two American Muslims who shed light on the Brotherhood's tactics inside the United States.
Brotherhood's Plan for America
Dr. Ahmed Mansour, president of the International Quranic Center, watched for years as the Muslim Brotherhood slowly laid the groundwork to seize power in his home country of Egypt.
Now, in America, he worries the Brotherhood will follow a similar playbook.
"They are working in the American community to make it as a fifth column," Mansour told CBN News. "They want to take over any place they are in."
Mansour taught at Cairo's famed Al-Azhar University, where he saw the Muslim Brotherhood's ideology up close.
"They believe that the world is divided into two camps: the camp of believers, their camp, and the camp of disbelievers, the camp of war. And they have the religious duty to war against that other camp.
Mansour founded the Quranist movement to present a more moderate interpretation of Islam. Over the years, it led to prison and harassment in Egypt.
He was finally forced to leave the country in 2001 after speaking out against the likes of the Brotherhood.
Brotherhood's Two Faces
"They are very cunning," Mansour said of the Brotherhood. "They usually use two faces. They use two discourses: the discourse among them, against all the people -- and a discourse, a very beautiful discourse, for all the non-Muslims."
But Mansour said they're real agenda is to seize power.
"Yes, this is what the Muslim Brothers are all about," he said.
Meanwhile, "Abdullah," another moderate Muslim, says followers of the Muslim Brotherhood have taken over mosques in the Boston area. CBN News disguised his face and voice for his safety.
"They want to go after the young minds," Abdullah said. "And the way they go after the young minds is, either they start scholarships in high school or they bring them to a certain level of obedience. It is called "tarbiyya." They have classes for them and so on."
Abdullah explained that once you're a Muslim Brother, you're in for life.
"When some young man is ready to take the oath, he is given an oath so he will never leave the organization. They will do anything," he said.
He says the Brotherhood also operates on Boston-area campuses.
Mansour, for one, is not surprised. He said he was shocked when he arrived in America and found that radicals controlled many of the mosques he visited -- even in the Washington, D.C., area.
"I escape from them in Egypt and find them here. I say to myself, 'Where can I go? Can I go to the moon?'" Mansour said.
The Brotherhood's influence may even stretch beyond the local level.
There have been reports in Egyptian media that Muslim Brotherhood operatives have influence in the Obama administration when it comes to counterterrorism and Mideast policy-making.
As for Mansour, he said he can't get any backing from U.S. government agencies for his moderate message.
Obama’s Strange Love Affair with the Muslim Brotherhood
Obama’s Strange Love Affair with the Muslim Brotherhood
It’s hard to fathom how or why our administration ever thought the Muslim Brotherhood saw democracy as other than a means to an end — and a particularly repellent one at that — in the first place.
It’s not as if the MB is subtle. They have proclaimed who they are since their founding by Hasan al Banna in 1928 and have not wavered in any significant way since in their global jihadist goals. They have also been unstinting in their massive misogyny, homophobia and rigid support of Shariah law über alles (quite literally über alles, since the Brotherhood were — virtually the last still unrepentant — allies of Hitler in WWII).
You know, liberal stuff.
Democracy, as their kissing cousin Turkey’s Erdogan so blithely explained, is “like a streetcar. When you come to your stop, you get off.” Or, as one of the Brotherhood’s own internal documents put it in that oh-so-distant year of 2007, they (the MB) are dedicated to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house.”
That’s from the Muslim Brotherhood’s “General Strategic Goal” for North America. The “miserable house” of Western civilization of course includes all the tenets of classical liberalism and most of those laterally paid lip service by today’s soi-disant “liberals” (rights of women, rights of homosexuals, freedom of expression, ad tedium, ad hypocrisia).
And yet those same liberals — not to mention the increasingly addle-brained John McCain who seemingly can’t tell an al-Qaeda operative from Paul Revere — are suddenly pounding Saharan sand in outrage at the extreme treatment of the Brotherhood at the hands of the mean Egyptian military.
Give me the proverbial break!
The only hope for democracy in Egypt — and it’s a mighty slim one, maybe the size of a third of an M&M crushed under a camel — is the military. At least they’re not insane.
Nevertheless, the president of the United States is not amused. We read our government is secretly “reviewing” our support of Egypt. They are urging the Egyptian military to negotiate with the Brotherhood, the same religious fanatics who evidently just told 24 Egyptian policemen to lie face down in the Sinai desert and summarily executed them, the same madmen who are running all over Egypt burning down Christian churches.
What is the explanation for this absolutely self-destructive, even idiotic, policy on our part?
There can be only one — the president of the United States is actually psychologically disturbed. He does not react in a normal manner. I know that’s a vicious and importunate thing to say, but the reaction to Egypt (and to Benghazi, for that matter) is not one of a psychologically healthy human being.
It’s more than the narcissism of which he is often accused, as bad as that is. It’s a form of extreme neurotic attraction to (notably Islamic) religious fascism. Obama is not a Muslim, but he has these deep feelings about it (some of them related to imperialism, others to his absent father, no doubt) that allow him to overlook, or rationalize, all that hideous misogyny, homophobia, and jihadist fanaticism, that loathing of democracy and freedom, even when it could not be more obvious. To Obama, those abhorrent — monumentally illiberal — behaviors and ideologies almost seem irrelevant. But they are the most relevant of all.
The Egyptian military are at least modern. The Brotherhood are decidedly anti-modern, determined to take Egypt, and the world, back to the Middle Ages. (Obama was also, many of us remember, oddly unsympathetic to the cause of the Green Movement in Iran — his silence setting him apart from virtually every Western leader.)
As I have written before (way back in 2010), Obama is a real weirdo.
But speaking of strange love affairs, our liberals continue to act as if Obama is normal, at least most of them do. You see actual Western (liberal) women speaking up in defense of the Muslim Brotherhood on cable television. Are they crazy? Have they lost their minds? Have they ever been to Cairo?
Well, I have — and it’s unspeakably poor and depressed. The Egyptians, as many have written, can barely feed themselves. If you cared even the slightest about the Egyptian people, you would unremittingly support the Egyptian military. They are the Egyptians’ only hope for a decent life at this point.
But not if you’re Barack Obama, lost in a childhood fantasy.
His supporters don’t even have that excuse.
Anyway, as we all know…

Obama’s Cousin is $ Man for Muslim Brotherhood
The Obamas’ Wahhabist Fundraising Empire:
Obama’s First Cousin Spills The Beans (on video)
By Walid and Theodore Shoebat
Click here to see Musa Obama’s extremely revealing interview.
While Obama’s connection to his Muslim family in Kenya is an acceptable topic for discussion in the Arab world, it is viewed as a ‘great taboo’ in the United States.
Why is that so? This ‘taboo’ should be considered unfair at best, purely prejudiced at worst. Is it fair that we censor such discussions just because Obama’s relatives are ‘Muslim’?
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) should condemn the media for keeping a tight lid on the subject. Isn’t it time to go beyond what is disclosed by President Obama in his Dreams from My Father or Wikipedia’s limited information, which includes the only photo released by the Obama family?
We will cover only three of the closest Kenyan relatives to president Obama:
1. Sarah, Barack’s beloved and benevolent grandmother
2. Sayid Obama, his closest favorite uncle
3. Musa Ismail Obama, his first cousin and Sayid’s main sidekick.
After President Obama was inaugurated, the Muslim side of the Obama family in Kenya boomed; it went from rags to riches overnight. They became one of the most influential families in western Kenya and even extended their sphere of influence to Saudi Arabia. When Sarah, president Obama’s grandmother (step-grandmother), decided to go to the Hajj, an obligatory pilgrimage to Mecca with Musa, president Obama’s first cousin, they were welcomed with open arms and were provided a special escort with full security detail and first-class treatment at the Saudi royal court:
His Royal Highness Prince Mamdouh bin Abdul Aziz accompanied the family of U.S. President Barack Obama in his palace in Jeddah after the performance of the Hajj this year. The event was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Thamer bin Abdul Aziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Mamdouh Bin Abdul Aziz, and his HRH Prince Abdullah bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, and a number of other princes and officials. The reason for such treatment—as explained in an exclusive interview with Musa Ismail Obama on Al-Jazeera—is that a close relationship was built with Saudi royals. Like president Obama’s call for education in the United States, the Kenyan Obamas embarked on a similar project.
President Obama’s grandmother Sarah started the Sarah Obama Benevolent Fund Institute, otherwise known as the Mama Sarah Obama Children Foundation, which raises 90% of its monies primarily from donors in the United States and some from Europe. Those monies are solicited as humanitarian aid and according to the website…
…to make a lasting impact on the lives of the orphans and underprivileged children by improving their housing, their education, their upbringing (which) continued to weigh heavily on Mama Sarah. All this and…
…to help the neglected HIV/AIDS infected and affected in Kogelo village by linking them to care-givers and professional health services providers.
(Barack Obama with step-grandmother Sarah)
That’s what we’re told but when one peruses the foundation’s real activities in Arabic, it reveals a very dark side to the family’s efforts.
Musa Ismail Obama, the president’s cousin—in an exclusive interview with Al-Jazeera TV—explained all the troublesome detail, which does not bode well when translated into English: the bulk of the Sarah Fund as it turns out sends little to widows and orphans while the rest goes towards giving free scholarships to studying Sharia at the most influential Wahhabist centers in Saudi Arabia.
In the shocking interview, Musa was asked about his communications with cousin Barack, the president of the United States. The soft-spoken Musa explained that the President’s preferred method of communications was through one chosen conduit that relays messages back and forth with the family in Kenya by going through Uncle Sayid Hussein Obama. This is the man who was in attendance with Mama Sarah at Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009.
Musa, Sayid’s sidekick and the public promoter of Mama Sarah’s non-profit became the family’s key advertiser to the social efforts in Kenya. He selects specific Arab media asking wealthy audiences for help, but mandates as a prerequisite that no questions are asked regarding any details of such communications with president Obama or the delving into any political views. Yet, he tells just enough to connect the dots to the wealthy Arab audience of Al-Jazeera. He relays the message to raise all necessary funds since his mission is to transform Kenya to an Islamic majority by using the Obama household name and his grandmother’s non-profit organization.
The fund has little to do with secular education or the care for widows and orphans. It never once mentions anything in any Arabic media in regards to helping the HIV infected. The bulk of the Sarah’s benevolence fund, as Musa explained, goes toward scholarships destined for Saudi Arabia’s most virulent Wahhabi Sharia centers—the Islamic University in Medina, Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah and the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.
The counter-Wahhabist Muslim moderate think tank, the Gulf Issues Centre For Strategic Studies describes these institutions as “Salafi schools, which imbibed radical ideas” and are “the spring of Wahhabism”:
“[Wahhabists] grew up in the Wahhabi and Salafi schools which imbibed radical ideas in the Islamic University in Medina, Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah, and the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. (see essay, The Role of Wahhbist Movements, under a section entitled The Circle of Violence)Musa expresses in classical Arabic how he memorized the entire Quran and how he graduated to become an Islamic scholar on Sharia from the Islamic University in Medina.
“I studied Arabic and Sharia at the Islamic university in Medina in Saudi Arabia,” exclaimed Musa while explaining his visit to Umm Al Qura University with his uncle Sayid: “In the month of Muharram we visited the dean of Umm Al Qura University, me and my uncle Sayid,” he told Al-Jazeera during the interview.
“The nature of the visit,” Musa explains, “was to facilitate scholarship to send students to Umm Al Qura.”
Umm Al Qura University has a heritage that includes being one of Saudi Arabia’s historical and national monuments. A paragon of Wahhabist education, it takes pride that the university was the first to print the works of Muhammad Abdul Wahhab, the founder of the most virulent brand of Islam—Wahhabism. The history of its Wahhabist connections can be seen [here].
On a cover-page of one of Wahhab’s collections from Umm Al Qura University, one can clearly see in fanciful Arabic calligraphy, the title, “Writings of Muhammad Abdul Wahhab” and a stamp that says “A gift from Umm Al Qura University-Mecca” is clearly visible.
In The Danger of Wahhabism in The Muslim World, by moderate Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al-Sayeh, who abandoned the teachings, he reflects on his studies at Umm Al Qura:
I studied Wahhabism, I studied their curriculum at the University of Umm Al Qura…At Umm Al Qura University, Musa and Sayid Obama—president Obama’s favorite uncle—are seen in photo-ops and were described by several Arab media sources as diligent workers in advancing scholarships for Kenyans to study Sharia, courtesy of Sarah’s fund.

Meetings of President Obama’s favorite uncle Sayid can even be seen at the official website of Umm Al Qura University where it proudly states:
His Highness the Director of Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Bakri bin Ma’touk A’sas received at his office in university city at Babidah Mr. Sayid Obama the uncle of His Excellency the President of the United States of America Barack Obama and Mr. Musa Ismail Obama the cousin of U.S. President…“When they [the students] submit an application to Sarah Obama Benevolent Fund, they expect to get what they want but we are flooded,” explains Musa.
As a result of the flood of students into the Wahhabi Sharia universities in Saudi Arabia, the interviewer then asks regarding the excess: “So you are opening an avenue in other universities?” Musa then explains he had to send the excess to nearby Doha in Qatar, where he visited and arranged everything.
When Al-Jazeera asked, “Do all these scholarships involve studying Arabic and Sharia?” Musa explained, “Some of those do not involve Sharia, like medicine or engineering.” Al-Jazeera then asks, “…but the majority involves what?” Musa answers: “Uuuhhh…. The majority of course is Sharia schools,” adding, “because my connection to the institutions is with Sharia schools.”
In what seems like a prepared script, Musa reads what he considers the catastrophe of Kenya, the lack of the process of proselytization, which goes hand-in-hand with Saudi interests seeking help from wealthy Saudis to transform Kenya into a Muslim majority.
This goal is also expressed by Al-Arab Newspaper, which covered the call of the Obamas in an interview with Musa Ismail Obama on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of World University Ruff in Nairobi [photo here].
Under the title, “Scholars in Kenya Call Their Brethren to Spread Islam and Teach Arabic” it states: “Muslims [in Kenya] suffer from the monumental Christianization aided by Zionist expansionism that infiltrates the nation.” (Muhammad Lasheeb, Al-Arab Newspaper, 8816th edition, published on August 1st, 2012)
(Photo above of Musa on Al-Arab Newspaper)
Al-Arab Newspaper expounds on the effort to advance “education” by the Obama family in Kenya. Under the title, “Education First” assistant Mufti of the coastal city of Mombasa Ahmad Bimsallam, chimed in explaining that, “the grand destruction that came upon Muslims in Kenya, came from the education and schools that are planted all over the nation by Christian missionary movements.”
Al-Arab does not even consider President Obama’s conversion to Christianity an issue and included a section entitled, “Obama’s Islam” while stating:
President Obama’s Islamic faith was considered a polarizing subject between Muslims and Christians in the Republic of Kenya. It is a center of struggle in the media and continues, as the Anglican Church there attempted to orchestrate a baptismal ordination for his grandmother Sarah in a grand celebration at the Gomokinyata playground in Kizimo, the third largest city in Kenya. It was a trick to trap her, pretending to invite her as a guest, as the church sent out information about her conversion and abandonment of Islam. The young Musa Ismail Obama, the cousin of the American president commented during his interview with Al-Arab that he was with his grandmother during Ramadan in the Holy Land in Mecca to do the Umra festivities after she completed her pilgrimage by invitation from the King of Saudi Arabia. Musa Obama who studied Sharia in Medina spoke to us regarding the situation of Muslims in Kenya calling upon the Arab and Islamic states to put more effort toward aiding the Kenyan Muslim brethren, especially since there is much support coming from Western nations and Western churches, spreading to the rest of Kenyan society from different religions. Musa opined that the situation of Muslims in Kenya is continually getting better, pointing to the village of Barack Obama, Kogelo, which is situated on the shores of Victoria Lake, in Western Kenya, for example, had no Muslims except his family. But now, they are increasing, and that the majority of new Muslims adopted Islam from the kind treatment of their family and that they have now a benevolent institution to raise funds and give important aid to the orphans and the poor, and it also gives scholarships to study Sharia in Medina [Saudi Arabia]. Musa also stated that despite the fact that Barack Obama hasn’t visited his tribe in Kenya since his election in the United States, there is a continual communication between him and several members of his family and his tribe in Kenya, of which the Kenyan prime minister is also a member. We have also had members of the tribe who came to celebrate the appointment of one of their tribesmen as president of the United States a while ago. Musa also clarified that the election of Barack Obama had an impact for the betterment of the Muslim situation in Kenya to a certain degree, despite the attempts of churches to obstruct Muslim demands and rights, especially what relates to segregation and persecution against them in schools, as well as the issue of hijab and the lack of constitutional rights for Muslims in establishing Sharia courts.”Perhaps most explosive is that president Obama’s uncle Sayid Hussein Obama is active in his work with the notorious Muslim World League (MWL) as reported by Saudi media:
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, and a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in Saudi Arabia in Makkah received on Monday Mr. Saeed Hussein Obama, Kenyan businessman, and uncle of President Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, who paid a visit to the Muslim World League, accompanied by a number of Kenyan graduates from Saudi universities. As we reported, the Muslim World League has extensive ties to terrorism. If Musa’s claims are true, that Sayid is Barack’s preferred point of contact with his Muslim family and that Sayid is dealing with the MWL, don’t the American people deserve to know the extent of their president’s connections and loyalties to these individuals and groups?
The MWL has numerous connections with al Qaeda operatives. In fact, several MWL employees have worked with al Qaeda. Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda gained material support and sponsorship—along with a cover—from MWL offices around the world. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, received Sayid, one of the most renowned Wahhabi scholars and a pioneer in spreading Wahhabism through education.
The Kenyan Obamas are too.

Who is the Muslim Brotherhood
from HomeLandSecurityUS Website
The Muslim Brotherhood began was founded in Egypt in 1928 by Hassan al BANNA as a youth organization with the primary objectives of moral and social reform throughout Islam. The movement extended to Syria where one branch founded in 1935 (the Aleppo branch) became the Syrian headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood. The organization then expanded its social-political involvement and became the known as the Party of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hizb Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimoon. Al-BANNA was a devout admirer of Adolf Hitler when he was a writer and before his rise to power. Al BANNA wrote supportive letters to Hitler and as a result, Hitler's requested that Nazi intelligence contact AL BANNA for the purpose of working together. Hitler enlisted Al-BANNA to establish a spy network for Nazi Germany throughout the Arabian Peninsula. The Nazi-Muslim alliance became such that Al-BANNA promised Hitler that when the Nazi's arrived Cairo and Alexandria, the Muslim Brotherhood would ensure that all of the British troops would be killed.
The decade of the 1930's saw the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood as a political group; it became an official political organization in 1939.
In 1942, Hassan al BANNA established additional branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in Transjordan and Palestine and moved the Syrian headquarters to Damascus in 1944. In Egypt after the end of World War II, Egyptian members took violent action against King Farouk’s government, leading to the expulsion of the organization from Egypt. It's members moved to moved to Transjordan where many more participated in the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-1949, fighting against the Jewish occupiers.
On December 28, 1948, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmud Fahmi Nokrashi. Consequently, the Muslim Brotherhood was banned and Al BANNA was later killed by government agents in Cairo in February 1949.
On October 26, 1954, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Abdul Munim Abdul Rauf, attempted to kill Egypt's second president Gamal Abdul Nasser . As a result, the organization was outlawed again and over 4000 of its members were imprisoned, including prominent member Sayyid QUTB, who became the most influential intellectual of the group, writing books in prison much like Hitler did before his rise to power. Members of the Muslim Brotherhood expanded their ranks to Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. The organization also opposed the growing alliance between Egypt and Communist USSR at that time.
In the 1950s, Jordanian members of the Muslim Brotherhood supported King Hussein of Jordan and against Egypt's Gamal Nasser's attempts to overthrow him. King Hussein banned all political parties in Jordan in 1957 with the exception of the Muslim Brotherhood. When Syria joined Egypt in the United Arab Republic (UAR) in 1958, the Muslim Brotherhood went underground; when Syria left the UAR 1961, the Muslim Brotherhood won 10 seats in the following next elections until the Ba’th coup in 1963 forced them underground once more.
Egyptian President Nasser legalized the Muslim Brotherhood again in 1964 and released all of the prisoners being held in Egyptian prisons. After more assassination attempts were made again against him, however, NASSER had many Brotherhood leaders imprisoned and others executed in 1966. Nasser's successor, Anwar SADAT, promised that he would implement Sharia Law in Egypt. Sadat's peace treaty with Israel in 1979, however, angered the Muslim Brotherhood once again and led to Sadat's assassination in 1981.
The Muslim Brotherhood was angered with the appointment of Hafez al-ASSAD, an Alawite Muslim, as the Syrian president in 1971 because the majority of Muslims did not consider Alawites true Muslims. ASSAD attempted to work peacefully with the organization, but his support of Maronites in the Lebanese Civil War made the Muslim Brotherhood declare its jihad against the proliferation of people and organizations opposing their views. An increase in terrorist strikes was noted; in 1979, the Muslim Brotherhood was responsible for killing 83 Alawite cadets in the Aleppo artillery school. Meanwhile, ASSAD tried to placate the Muslim Brotherhood by changing regime officials and releasing political prisoners. When such changes were deemed ineffective, military force was used to restore order.
On 25 June 1980, an assassination attempt was made against ASSAD. As a result, ASSAD had the Syrian parliament declare membership with the Muslim Brotherhood a capital offense and sent his army to root out its members. In the operation that lasted through February 1982, the Syrian army killed many of the Muslim Brotherhood in an event that has become known as the Hama Massacre. As a result, the Syrian branch members of the Muslim Brotherhood dispersed and joined Islamic organizations in other countries.
In Saudi Arabia, the Muslim Brotherhood convinced King Ibn Saud to let them start the Islamic University in Medina in 1961. Following the 1967 Six-Day War, the Muslim Brotherhood splintered into moderates and radicals components, with the radicals joining in Syria and declaring jihad against the Ba'th party leaders. King Hussein allowed the Jordanian branch to give military training to Muslim Brotherhood rebels in Jordan.
In 1973, the Israeli government permitted local Islamic leader Ahmad YASSIN to run social, religious and welfare institutions for Palestinian Muslims. This process lasted for nearly a decade; in 1983, YASSIN was arrested for illegal possession of firearms and sentenced to prison. He served two years and was released 1985. upon his release, he became a folk hero of the Muslim Brotherhood and became one of the founders of the terrorist group HAMAS following the 1987 Intifada.
The Muslim Brotherhood was partially accepted in Egypt in 1984 as a "religious organization," but was placed under surveillance by the Egyptian intelligence Services. In 1989, the Muslim Brotherhood political wing in Jordan, known as the Islamic Action Front, won 23 out of 80 seats in Jordan's parliament. Although King Hussein tried to limit their influence though election law reformation, they became the largest group in the parliament with the 1993 elections. Importantly, they strongly opposed the Jordanian-Israeli Peace Treaty in 1994.
At the onset of the Soviet-Afghan war, the Muslim Brotherhood was a constituent part of the Afghan resistance.
More recently, The Muslim Brotherhood is suspected as being behind the the ongoing Chechen revolt against Russia. Officials of the Russian Intelligence services have accused the Muslim Brotherhood of planning the homicide car bombing in Grozny, Chechnya on 27 December 2002.
Numerous Islamic terrorist organizations, including al Qaeda, have their roots in The Muslim Brotherhood.
