Arrow Palestinian Auth. Declares Baptist Church 'Unlawful'

Palestinian Auth. Declares Baptist Church 'Unlawful'
PA: Bethlehem Church will no longer receive rights as a religious institution; birth certificates, marriage licenses deemed illegitimate

The Palestinian Authority declared a Baptist Church in Bethlehem to be unlawful and said that it will no longer receive rights as a religious institution, Algemeiner reported.

This decision comes a week after Prime Minister Salam Fayyad told an audience of Evangelical Protestants that his government respected the rights of its Christian minorities.

“They said that our legitimacy as a church from a governmental point of view is not approved,” said an assistant pastor at the First Baptist Church. “They said they will not recognize any legal paper work from our church. That includes birth certificates, wedding certificates and death certificates. Children are not even considered to be legitimate if they don’t have recognized paperwork.”

The messianic church was subjected to an ongoing onslaught of attacks by Arabs during the height of the First Intifada.

At a recent gathering of Evangelical Protestants, Prime Minister Fayyad said that ensuring the rights of the Christian minority to access their holy sites is, in part, what it “means to be a Palestinian.”

Pastor Reverend Naim Khoury noted, however, that animosity towards the Christian minority in areas controlled by the PA continues to get increasingly worse.

“People are always telling [Christians], ‘Convert to Islam. Convert to Islam. It’s the true and right religion,’” Khoury said.

The Algemeiner explained that the “church’s message of reconciliation flies in the face of the propaganda that permeates Palestinian society. Muslim clerics routinely offer up anti-Semitic rants on PA television and so-called peace activists have turned the concrete sections of the security barrier in Bethlehem into a canvas for their propaganda, which in some instances proffers a troubling fatalism to its viewers.”

Rev. Khoury noted, “The First Baptist Church in Bethlehem has demonstrated its value to the community over the years and proven itself to be a law-abiding church.” He said he will speak to members of the U.S. Congress to draw attention to discrimination that is occurring in Bethlehem, perpetrated by the PA against the Christian minority.

“We did let them know that we’re not going to go quietly on this. Our church deserves the right to be equally recognized amongst all the other recognized denominations in the PA.”

After Judea and Samaria were restored to Israel in the Six-Day War, the Israeli government opened up churches and holy sites, reversing the policy of Jordan, which closed all Jewish and Christian holy sites during its occupation after the War for Independence in 1948.

Exclamation Islamic Jihad Threatens Tel Aviv

Islamic Jihad Threatens Tel Aviv
Quds Brigades members say they have rockets that can strike far beyond Ashdod and will use them if Israel doesn't halt targeted killings.

Islamic Jihad rally

Islamic Jihad claimed on Friday it has rockets that can reach Tel Aviv.

A member of the terror group's Quds Brigades using the alias Abu Ibrahim told AFP they were ready to expand the reach of its rocket fire "beyond the Israeli town of Ashdod."

“If the occupation targets any leader of any Palestinian group whatsoever or any citizen, the Brigades will respond with force and expand the reach of the response beyond Ashdod,” he said.

“The enemy is aware of the range that the Brigades rockets can reach,” he said, adding that the Quds Brigades possessed “many thousands” of rockets.

Islamic Jihad fired most of the rockets that have targeted Israel's southern communities since hostilities escalated on 9 March.

The uptick in rocket fire began shortly after Israel targeted and killed the head of the Popular Resistance Committees – Zuhir Musa Ahmed Qaisi – on Friday afternoon. His deputy, Mahmoud Ahmed Mahmoud Hanani, was also killed.

Intelligence sources said Qaisi was planning a terror attack on Israel’s recently reopened Route 12, which was the site of a deadly terror attack the PRCs carried out last year resulting in eight Israelis being killed.

The Popular Resistance Committees are also responsible for over 10,000 rockets and mortar shells fired at Israel’s southern communities since 2001.

Since 9 March, over 200 rockets have been fired into Israel by Gaza terror gangs, while Israeli airstrikes killed 26 in the coastal enclave - at least 22 of whom were terrorists.

Some rockets landed nearly 40 kilometers inside Israel, not far from the outskirts of Tel Aviv.

Islamic Jihad has said it will not honor the theoretical truce brokered late Monday evening unless Israel agrees not to target terror leaders in future.

Abu Ibrahim claimed the Quds Brigades have “developed long-range rockets and if the aggression returns, they could be used to reach towns far beyond Ashdod.”

However, another Quds Brigades indicated their missiles were Iranian imports, “certain resistance groups, including the Quds Brigades, have Fajr-3 and Fajr-5 missiles, with a range of 60-110 kilometers.”

“But they are not for use unless Israel targets an important figure,” he said, adding Islamic Jihad had obtained Russian-made SAM-7 missiles.
Targeting central Israel with rockets would almost certainly trigger a massive response by Israeli officials, which could include a major ground incursion into Gaza.

Exclamation Israel ultimatum: Stop the missiles by Saturday night. Hamas leader in Tehran

Israel ultimatum: Stop the missiles by Saturday night. Hamas leader in Tehran

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report
March 16, 2012
http://www.debka.com/article/21833/

Mahmoud A-Zahar of Hamas welcomed in Tehran

After five days of non-stop missile fire on a dozen towns and villages, Israel Thursday night, March 15, gave Egypt and Hamas two days to halt the shooting or else the Israeli Defense Forces would go into action against Gaza. debkafile’s military sources report that neither Egypt nor Hamas can be expected to go up against the missile shooters now. The attacks have now been taken over from Jihad Islami by a small group of Salafi Palestinians calling itself Haraka Muhaheddin, which belongs to Jalalat, the al Qaeda roof organization in the Gaza Strip.

Most of the missiles are now coming from the Salafi concentrations in the southern part of the enclave –targeting Beersheba and Netivot Thursday morning and as night fell aimed at Ashdod, Ashkelon, Shear Hanegev and the Eshkol region. The firing escalated after Israel laid down its ultimatum.

Egypt and Hamas don’t know exactly who is giving Haraka the missiles, except that they are smuggled from Sinai through tunnels managed by Iranian intelligence agents in conjunction with local al Qaeda networks.

It is highly unlikely that Hamas will venture to lay hands on these Salafi terrorists at a time when one of its top officials in Gaza, Mahmoud A-Zahar, is visiting Tehran for talks with Iranian leaders who are keen to keep the missile assaults going.

His visit marks the Hamas fundamentalists’ return to the Iranian fold - that is if they ever really left it. This, Israeli strategists have chosen to ignore and are treating Hamas as a non-participant in the missile offensive and available to help Cairo bring the terrorists to accept a ceasefire.

The sequence of events leading up to this week’s violence points to the opposite conclusion and, therefore, the probable escalation of the violence rather than a truce.

Five days before the missile fire began, on March 5, a Hamas Deputy Politburo Chief Mousa Abu Marzouk and Hizballah’s Hassan Nasrallah met in Beirut and finalized tactics for building up tensions on Israel’s borders.

Monday, March 12, Mahmoud A-Zahar was in Cairo to wind up Gaza ceasefire terms with Egyptian officials when, to their astonishment, instead of returning to Gaza, he boarded a plane to Tehran. He is still there.

And so, while the Egyptians try and reach some sort of accommodation with Hamas for a truce, Hamas itself is in close communion with the Iranians, who want to see the Israeli military stuck in a messy a showdown with the Palestinian Salafis.

Rockets land in southern Israel

Despite an Egyptian-brokered ‘ceasefire’ announced earlier this week, terrorists continued to fire rockets at Israeli territory on Friday.
A Kassam rocket which was fired from Gaza at southern Israel on Friday afternoon landed in an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council. There were no physical injuries or damage.

The terrorists took advantage of winter-like weather conditions in the area to cover up the fact that they were firing a rocket, according to a report on Channel 2 News.

A Kassam rocket was also fired from Gaza towards Israel overnight Thursday and exploded in an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council.

At least five rockets and missiles were fired from Gaza into Israeli territory throughout the day on Thursday, including a Grad missile fired at Ashdod on Thursday evening. While the Iron Dome system successfully shot the missile out of the air before impact, the attack caused concern among local officials and led to the closure of schools across the south.

On Thursday, when schools were open, a rocket hit near a school in Ofakim. No children were wounded in the attack.

The latest terror onslaught from Gaza began last Friday. Terrorists fired more than 200 rockets at Israeli cities in four days.

Thumbs down Abbas honors terrorists

Abbas honors terrorists
by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=6574

Earlier this month, two Palestinian terrorists attacked an Israeli soldier in Hebron and stabbed him with a knife. Despite his wounds, the soldier managed to shoot both terrorists, one of whom was killed while the other was injured.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas sent a condolence telegram to the family in which he called the killed terrorist "courageous." The soldier's act of shooting the terrorist who tried to kill him was defined by Abbas as an "assassination." The official PA daily referred to tje soldier's self-defense as a "loathsome crime," while the attempted stabbing of the Israeli soldier was called "legitimate struggle."

A few days later, Mahmoud Abbas sent his personal representative, Abbas Zaki, to visit the families of both terrorists and to express the leadership's "solidarity." Zaki said that the death of Aram was "cold-blooded murder" and "expressed the pride of the Palestinian leadership in this generation and in this heroism."

Palestinian Media Watch reported last year that Abbas sent a grant of $2000 to the family of a terrorist who was killed while attempting to attack Israeli soldiers with pipe bombs.

For more examples of Abbas glorifying terror, click here.

For more examples of the PA policy of glorifying terror, click here.

The following are the two reports of Abbas' honoring of the terrorists in the official PA daily:

"President Mahmoud Abbas sent a telegram of condolence to the Abu Aram family in Yatta, in Hebron, for the death of their courageous son, Zakariya Jamal Abu Aram.

In his telegram, the President said: 'I was greatly saddened by the announcement of Martyrdom death of your courageous son Zakariya Jamal Abu Aram, who was assassinated by the occupation army. His pure soul has ascended to the heights of glory in defense of the pure land of Palestine and the matters that are holy to our pure nation.'

The President denounced this loathsome crime, which was carried out as part of a string of crimes by the occupation army against our defenseless people, with the aim of striking fear into it and dissuading it from continuing in its legitimate struggle for freedom and the establishment of our independent state, with Jerusalem as its capital.'"
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 11, 2012]

"[Fatah] Central Committee member Abbas Zaki yesterday conveyed condolences in the name of President Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah Central Committee to the family of the Martyr Zakariya Jamal Abu Aram from the town of Yatta in Hebron, who died as a Martyr after being shot by the occupation forces when he tried to prevent the arrest of the prisoner freed in the [Gilad] Shalit [prisoner exchange] deal. Zaki expressed the solidarity of the President and the leadership of Fatah with the family of the Martyr... He pointed out that the cold-blooded murder of Abu Aram is organized crime of the extremist Israeli government... Zaki also visited the family of the injured prisoner Mahmoud Omar Rashid who was also injured in town of Yatta (in the same incident)... He expressed the pride of the Palestinian leadership in this generation and in this heroism."

Exclamation PA's Inconsistent Terror Stands

PA's Inconsistent Terror Stands

by IPT News • Mar 22, 2012 at 1:30 pm
http://www.investigativeproject.org/...-terror-stands

In a horrific act of terror, self-proclaimed al-Qaida militant Mohamed Merah embarked on a killing spree across Southern France earlier this week, claiming the seven lives, including three Jewish schoolchildren, a rabbi and three paratroopers.

A French police sniper killed Merah Thursday after a 32-hour siege in Toulouse, the BBC reports.

"This terrorist crime is condemned in the strongest terms by the Palestinian people and our children, Fayyad said Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad. "No Palestinian child can accept crimes against innocent people."

Fayyad also expressed his frustrations over radical Islamists' consistent use of the Palestinian plight to justify their terrorist actions.

"It is time for these criminals to stop exploiting the name of Palestine through their terrorist actions, and to stop pretending to stand up for Palestinian children, who only seek a decent life for themselves and for all children of the world," he said.

But Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) points out that Fayyad's exposes a serious inconsistency in the Palestinian Authority's glorifying terrorists.
PA leaders, spokesmen, government controlled media outlets, and the official Fatah Facebook page consistently glorify terrorists referring to them as "heroic fighters" and "role models," PMW reports.

They also constantly pay their respects to the families of suicide bombers with home visits, PMW details in a November report.

Most recently, PA officials honored terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, leader of the team that carried out the 1978 Coastal Road massacre claiming 37 lives. "The bride of the coast, Dalal Mughrabi, and other female fighters have roles of honor in the national struggle," Laila Ghannam, Governor of Ramallah and el-Bireh, said last week.

"Dalal was a model of a fighting Palestinian woman…who fulfilled her obligation towards her land and homeland," said PA Civil Defense Commissioner Abu Al-Sheikh on March 7.

The PA also named more than a dozen West Bank institutions after Mughrabi, including "The Dalal Mughrabi Girl's High School" in Hebron, where USAID funded renovations.

Even Fayyad honored Mughrabi, among other terrorists. At a July 2011 PA summer camp he sponsored, campers were divided into three groups named after terrorists Mughrabi, Salah Khalaf, and Abu Ali Mustafaa," PMW cited.

Last March, Fayyad honored terrorist bombers in his weekly radio address, sending his warm greetings to Palestinian mothers in honor of Mother's Day.

"On this occasion, I will not fail to mention with honor and admiration the resolve of the female prisoners, the fighters, and of all the prisoners of freedom who are imprisoned in the Israeli prisons, experiencing indescribable suffering…I make special mention of all the female prisoners who are mothers: Imam Ghazawai;…Wahira Al-Sa'adi; Irena Sarahneh; Latifa Abu Zara'a…," Fayyad said.

Al-Sa'adi and Sarahneh drove suicide bombers to their attacks killing five people. Ghazawi placed a bomb in the Tel Aviv bus station. Abu Zara'a was caught smuggling a bomb into Israel for attack, PMW noted.

Arrow PA TV uses culture to misrepresent Israeli cities as part of "Palestine"

PA TV uses culture to misrepresent Israeli cities as part of "Palestine"

by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik
Mar. 26, 2012

Four current PA TV songs misrepresent Jaffa, Haifa and 20 other Israeli cities and regions
as parts of "Palestine"

by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

The Palestinian Authority continues to use culture and song to misrepresent Israeli cities and regions as if they are Palestinian or in "Palestine." Palestinian Media Watch has documented this ongoing PA policy of depicting a world in which "Palestine" exists and replaces Israel.

A new song exemplifying this denial of Israel's existence has been broadcast recently on PA TV:

"Oh bird, take me to [my] homeland
Color my eyelids with the soil of Palestine. Send greetings to Acre and to the Upper Galilee... Haifa... Jerusalem... Jaffa... Lod... Be'er Sheva... Tiberias... Beit Shean... Nazareth... Safed."
[PA TV (Fatah), March 6, 14, and 20, 2012]

Palestinian Authority TV is controlled directly by Abbas' office.

This song joins another being broadcast now on PA TV that also uses the image of a bird flying over all of Israel, while misrepresenting Israeli cities as "Palestine":

"[Oh bird,] turn to Safed, and then to Tiberias, and send regards to the sea of Acre and Haifa. Don't forget Nazareth - the Arab fortress, and tell Beit Shean about its people's return...
My country Palestine is beautiful."
[PA TV (Fatah), June 24, July 13, Nov. 13,
Dec. 14, 24, 2011, and Feb. 11, 2012]

Also this week, PA TV rebroadcast a song identifying cities all over Israel as "Palestinian." The music video displays scenes from places in Israel and a repeating image of a boy carrying a Palestinian flag:

"Jaffa, Acre, Haifa, and Nazareth are ours... Ramle, Lod and Sakhnin are Palestinian... From Safed to Al-Badhan (near Nablus) is Palestinian; Tiberias and Ashkelon are Palestinian."
[PA TV (Fatah), May 13, and June 24,
July 14, 15, Sept. 2, 2011 Jan. 5, 8,
Feb. 25, March 19, 2012]

Last month, PMW reported on a song that describes the Israeli cities of Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, Jerusalem, Ramle and Nazareth as part of "my country," Palestine. The song, which was rebroadcast 3 times last week, also expresses a desire for all these cities to be accessible "with no borders," meaning Israel would not exist.

"Even if our path has grown long, one day we will return:To Jerusalem, to Gaza, to Acre, to Haifa, oh Lord. To Jerusalem, to Ramle, to Acre, to Haifa, oh Lord... I wish I could enter my country with no borders."
[PA TV (Fatah), Jan. 30, Feb. 9, 29,
March 14, 15 (twice), 2012]

The fact that the Palestinian Authority chooses to broadcast the message of a world without Israel in numerous cultural expressions is one of the indicators of its centrality to the Palestinian Authority.

The following are the lyrics of the newest song misrepresenting Israeli cities as Palestinian on PA TV:

"Oh bird, take me to [my] homeland
Color my eyelids with the soil of Palestine
Send greetings to Acre and to the Upper Galilee
To Bir Zeit, Haifa, Tira and Ayn Ghazal (Moshav Ofer)
To Jerusalem, Jaffa, Gaza and Jabalya
To Nablus, Ramallah and Jenin
To Khan Yunis, Rafah and Qalqilya
To Lod, Tubas and Hebron
To Be'er Sheva - every [Bedouin] tribe
To Tulkarem, Sila and Burqin
To Tiberias, Um El-Fahm and Beit Shean
To Tzippori, Lubya (Kibbutz Lavi) and Tur'an
To Nazareth and Safed of [Mount] Canaan
To Al-Shajara (Moshav Ilaniya), El-Bira and Hittin (Moshav Arbel)
Oh bird, take me to [my] homeland
Color my eyelids with the soil of Palestine"
[PA TV (Fatah), March 6, 14, and 20, 2012]

Note: The following cities and sites mentioned in the song are located in Israel.

In Northern Israel: Acre, Upper Galilee, Haifa, Tira, Moshav Ofer, TIberias, Beit Shean, Tzippori, Um El-Fahm, Kibbutz Lavi, Tur'an, Nazareth, Safed, Moshav Ilaniya, and Moshav Arbel.

In Central Israel: Jerusalem, Jaffa, Ramle, and Lod.
In Southern Israel: Ashkelon and Be'er Sheva.

Creating sentiment and memory, a longing for things never truly possessed, or lost through one's own choice of action, is a very dangerous thing. The thoughts may be manufactured, but the guns, knives and explosives are definately real.

Another good reason I ve been saying Israel must re claim the rights to even the name Palestine. That way no matter what the arabs do, say or try to misrepresent, Israel and Palestine will remain Jewish brands & never arab ones! Israel doesnt need to approval of the UN nor of the arab nations, all it needs is its own approval and the day she does so Israel will be blessed like anything! God will protect Israel!

Exclamation Iran and Hamas’ Genocidal Fellow Travelers

Iran and Hamas’ Genocidal Fellow Travelers
Leftist zombies prepare to goose step in the March of Hate against the Jewish State
by Daniel Greenfield

In the spring of 1948, Arab Muslim armies and militias invaded the Jewish State in order to destroy it. Now after the Arab Spring yielded an Islamic Winter, efforts are being made to focus this spring on a renewed assault on Israel.

The Global March to Jerusalem is being billed as a peaceful march, but in reality it’s a Muslim crusade calling for the ethnic cleansing of a Jewish city and a number of its organizers have Hamas ties and have made genocidal statements about the Jews.

Tipping its hand is the logo of the Global March which encompasses all of Israel from Kiryat Shmona in the north all the way down to Eilat in the south, making it quite clear that this isn’t just about one city; it’s about all of them and all the land around them. It’s about the complete destruction of Israel.

The March has fairly clear echoes of the Arab invasion of Israel in 1948 and the Mufti of Jerusalem’s Holy War Army. It also follows up on the Gaza Flotilla’s aim of challenging Israeli sovereignty to provoke incidents and claim victimhood. Or as Abdul Malik Sukaryeh, the march’s Lebanon media co-coordinator, said in an interview on a Hezbollah website, while threatening a third intifada, “Is Israel going to massacre us? …This would be genocide, a real Holocaust not a pretended one.”

While ties between Hamas and its godfathers in Iran have been tested by the Syrian civil war, the Global March shows that cooperation continues between the Mullahs and the Brotherhood arm. For Iran the Global March helps shift focus from its own domestic troubles and international conflicts to the Muslim world’s chief scapegoat. And Hamas, which has found itself having to explain its position on Syria, can refocus attention on a common enemy.

Like the Gaza Flotilla, the Global March depends heavily on harnessing Western useful idiots, whom it needs in order to avoid looking like the Iran/Hamas ethnic cleansing project that it is. Like revenants summoned from their crypt, the living dead of the left, widely discredited, morally bankrupt and repugnantly shrill, rise to the call of their Islamic masters.
The Global March has already been endorsed by George Galloway and Cindy Sheehan, along with fellow Code Pink ghoul and Democratic Party fundraiser, Medea Benjamin. 9/11 Truther Richard Falk has signed on the dotted line, along with radical racist theorist Cornel West and Obama’s former mentor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

What these useful idiots are endorsing is nothing short of blatant bigotry, ethnic cleansing and genocide. That is made clear by statements from the Global March on Jerusalem organizers.

Ahmad Abo Halabiya, a Hamas figure who heads the Global March committee in Gaza and sits on the march’s International Central Committee, has said, “Have no mercy on the Jews, no matter where they are, in any country. Fight them, wherever you are. Wherever you meet them, kill them.”

Ahmad Bahar, who sits on the Global March’s advisory board, and a Hamas leader who served as the speaker of the united Palestinian parliament, has proclaimed, “Make us victorious over the infidel people… Allah, take hold of the Jews and their allies, Allah, take hold of the Americans and their allies… Allah, count them and kill them to the last one and don’t leave even one.”

The advisory board also includes Sheikh Raed Salah, who heads up the Muslim Brotherhood inside Israel, and has accused Jews of using children’s blood in baking matza, an ancient blood libel, along with former Malaysian prime minister Mahatir Mohamad who claimed that, “the Jews rule the world by proxy.”

But that kind of company may not be too repugnant for the likes of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who stated that Obama won’t talk to him because he’s controlled by the Jews, another endorser, Desmond Tutu, who has a long history of anti-Semitic statements, and Cindy Sheehan who has claimed that her son died to benefit Israel.

Or for Judith Butler, who has waged a war to boycott the Jewish State, and has bizarrely said that, “understanding Hamas, Hezbollah as social movements that are progressive, that are on the Left, that are part of a global Left, is extremely important.”

Making for some middle ground on the North-American end of things is Hatem Bazian, who terrorized Jewish students in his journey from campus organizer to professor, and whose Hamas connections and events targeting Israel have made him a fixture during Israeli Apartheid Week. Also listed is Edward Peck, who received credit from Jeremiah Wright for inspiring some of his more inflammatory statements, and who has described Hamas leaders as “moderate.”

Then there’s the always reliable leftist Noam Chomsky, who has nevertheless built bridges to Holocaust deniers, Richard Falk, the 9/11 Truther who has posted anti-Semitic materials online, Francis Boyle, who has described Israel as “Jewistan” and cheerfully predicted its destruction.

That anti-Semitism is a common element among both the Islamic core of the Global March and its Western useful idiots, who like Judith Butler, are busy pretending that the March is as progressive and leftist as Hezbollah and Hamas. That toxic combination of hatred and self-hatred has been on display throughout all the attempts to camouflage the campaign against Israel in peaceful colors.

But can a campaign against the Jewish inhabitants of Jerusalem be seen as anything but anti-Semitic and can a movement whose logo entirely eliminates Israel while its leading activists make genocidal statements be seen as anything but genocidal?

Jerusalem is the heart of Israel. Its history is tied to that of the Jewish people. The Islamic crusade against that heritage and history should be seen within the context of the Arabization and Islamization efforts in Asia and North Africa which wiped out the identities and cultures of entire peoples. As long as Jerusalem exists by its true name, rather than Al-Quds, a generic bastardization, it stands in opposition to Mecca and the wave of genocide and ethnic cleansing that left millions without any culture and creed but that of their conquerors.

Jerusalem represents an ongoing resistance to that original march of hate, as both a city and the capital of a nation, where people of all religions and no religion at all enjoy equal rights and political freedom. That is what drives Mecca in its insane campaign of hate against Jerusalem. And that is what unites the madmen and madwomen of the far left who want to plunge the West into darkness to join in the march against Jerusalem.

Ok this is unrelated but did anyone hear James Carvill the DNC Democrat spin doctor state yesterday that if the Healthcare is defeated in the Supreme Court it will be a "victory" for Democrats. What in the hell did he mean by that? Sounds so much like those arab states that claim victory after they loose wars against Israel!

Arrow Jailed Palestinian Leader Calls for More Violence

Jailed Palestinian Leader Calls for More Violence
JERUSALEM, Israel -- On the tenth anniversary of his incarceration, former Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti called on the Palestinian Authority to sever ties with Israel and launch a third intifada -- armed uprising -- against the Jewish state.

Barghouti is serving five consecutive life sentences for masterminding terror attacks in the second intifada (2000 - 2005) and for the murder of four Israelis and a Greek Orthodox priest.

In a letter read aloud at a rally in Ramallah on Tuesday, the former head of Fatah's Tanzim militia called on the P.A. to sever all ties with Israel, saying it is not a partner for peace.

"Launching a large-scale popular resistance at this stage will serve the cause of our people," Barghouti wrote. People have an "absolute right to use all methods and means to resist occupation," he added.

Barghouti praised Hamas, Islamic Jihad and all those who succeeded in carrying out terror attacks against Israelis, including Wafa Idris and Ayat al-Akhras, two female Fatah suicide bombers.

Idris, 28, detonated the bomb in her backpack in front of a shoe store on Jerusalem's Jaffa Road on January 27, 2002, killing an elderly Jewish man and wounding more than 100 others. Al-Akhras, 18, detonated her explosives belt on March 29, 2002, killing herself and two Israelis, including a teenager.

Barghouti also praised members of Fatah's al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades who were either killed or arrested during the second intifada.

He called for an across-the-board, international boycott of Israel politically, diplomatically and economically, while admonishing the local Arab population to adopt a "comprehensive boycott" of all Israeli products.

Israel has refused to include Barghouti in past prisoner exchanges, a point that particularly annoys him, Jerusalem Post Palestinian Affairs correspondent Khaled Abu Toameh says.

According to Toameh, Barghouti's latest message is directed as much at the P.A. hierarchy as it is at Israel and, in fact, echoes other critics of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his government for "marketing illusions that the occupation could be ended through negotiations."

The P.A. leadership views Barghouti as a potential threat to their hold on power, a reason not to work hard at securing his release.

Exclamation PA Steps Up Crackdown On Journalists

Journalist and blogger Ismat Abdel Khaleq imprisoned, held in solitary confinement after posting on Facebook. The Palestinian Authority government in the West Bank has stepped up its crackdown on Palestinian journalists by arresting a female journalist because of a comment she posted on Facebook.

Last Wednesday, PA security forces detained the journalist and blogger, Ismat Abdel Khaleq, for criticizing the PA leadership and calling for the dismantlement of the PA.

Related: Over the weekend, she was remanded into custody for another 15 days and is being held in solitary confinement, her colleagues told The Jerusalem Post.

They said that Khaleq was taken into custody after the PA security forces in the West Bank accused her of “slander and defamation.”
Khaleq is the fourth Palestinian journalist to be detained for posting critical comments on Facebook over the past two years.

Several other Palestinian journalists have also been summoned for questioning after criticizing the PA leadership on their Facebook accounts.

The three other journalists who were detained because of their comments on Facebook are Rami Samara, who works for the PA’s official news agency, Wafa; Mamdouh Hamamreh from Al-Quds TV; and George Canawati, director of Bethlehem 2000 Radio.

The crackdown on Facebook users in the West Bank coincides with the arrest last week of Palestinian journalist Youssef Al-Shayeb, who works for the Jordanian daily Al-Ghad newspaper.

Shayeb was arrested for exposing corruption in the Palestinian diplomatic mission in France. Last Thursday he went on a hunger strike to protest his incarceration.

His arrest has sparked a wave of protests among Palestinian journalists and human rights groups, who accused the PA government of violating freedom of speech in the West Bank.

Arrow Nazareth Imam Convicted of Inciting Terror

Nazareth Imam Convicted of Inciting Terror
An influential Nazareth imam has been convicted of inciting to terrorism, and founding a Salafist group with Al-Qaeda ideology.

By Maayana Miskin
4/1/2012

Nazem Abu Salim, imam of the Shihab a-Din mosque in Nazareth, was convicted Sunday of incitement to terrorism and violence, and of support for a terror organization.

Salim, 47, is a popular preacher who often addressed thousands with his Friday sermons. Prosecutors said his ideology is identical to that of Al-Qaeda.

He was arrested in October 2010, and has been under house arrest since.

In addition to promoting his extremist ideology in sermons, Salim was convicted of founding an extremist group called Ansar Allah. The group was declared illegal in July 2011 due to its support for terrorism.

In June 2010 a terrorist cell with Al Qaeda-like ideology was uncovered in Nazareth. The cell had 20 members with varying levels of involvement. Several were convicted of multiple violent crimes, including the murder of taxi driver Yafim Weinstein.

Members of the group were found to have been influenced by Salim’s speeches.

Video: Hamas Urges Women to Blow Themselves Up

A Hamas legislator gave a fiery speech, urging women to blow themselves up for the sake of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Speaking before the Global March on Jerusalem, Mushri al-Masri addressed a score of Palestinian women in Gaza in a speech broadcast on Hamas Al Aqsa television and translated by the IDF on its website.

His constant theme was to sacrifice Arab blood “for the Al Aqsa mosque,” which is on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

“The Hamas woman in Gaza, the Palestinian woman, says that our blood is a sacrifice for Al Aqsa mosque and that we will give Al Aqsa mosque blood and pave the road with body parts,” the Hamas legislator declared.
He called on Gaza women to march towards Israel as part of “one message – that the Hamas’ compass and direction are clear; they are not vague or obscure. “

“Palestine, all of Palestine and Jerusalem, all of Jerusalem – its west before its east, Palestine with every grain of its earth with every particle is the property of the Palestinian people and the rifle of Al Kassam Brigades and the willingness of the Jihad warrior to fight for the sake of Allah and sacrifice her sons,” Al Masri continued.

He called for “a struggle and a revolution that will say to this enemy, ‘You have no place on our land.’”

The Global March took place on Friday with less than 50,000 demonstrators in Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, far less than two million promised.

Exclamation March on Jerusalem Fizzles

March on Jerusalem Fizzles

by IPT News • Mar 31, 2012
http://www.investigativeproject.org/...usalem-fizzles

There was nothing "out of the ordinary" about Friday's annual Palestinian protest of Land Day, the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] spokesman said, despite predictions that 2 million Palestinians and activists would swamp Israel's security forces. Many protests both in Israel and the territories were prevented or under attended, while international demonstrations drew few to the cause of "stopping the Judaization of Jerusalem."

The army was "satisfied" about its largely nonviolent reaction to the protests, as well as Palestinian-Israeli security cooperation in preventing the overwhelming spread of protests, said IDF Spokesman Yoav Mordechai. Only one violent protester was killed along the Gaza border, in comparison to 38 deaths that followed illegal infiltrations along the Syrian and Lebanese borders last year. The low turnout also thwarted attempts by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to draw more demonstrators to officially sponsored rallies.

The event was also a major failure internationally. Jordanian protesters were stopped before they reached the border, and four American members of the anti-Zionist Jewish group Neturei Karta were beaten and verbally abused by some local participants. Lebanese protesters spoke out violently against Israel but did not provoke major reactions at the border, while the ongoing Syrian government crackdown prevented any serious actions there. A rally in Berlin drew around 50 protesters, and rallies in other European capitals and America failed to impress.

Israeli police have already begun to prepare for other upcoming protest days, including Nakba and Naksa days.

Arrow Rev. Wright’s Role in the ‘Destroy Israel March’

Rev. Wright’s Role in the ‘Destroy Israel March’
Obama's mentor served as an adviser to the anti-Semitic Global March to Jerusalem
by Arnold Ahlert

On March 30th, the Global March to Jerusalem (GMJ), an attempt to mobilize millions of demonstrators aimed at converging on the state of Israel and inevitably breaching its borders, took place. Joining the likes of Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Mavi Marmara flotilla veterans, were the inevitable horde of useful idiots from the West, including British anti-Semite George Galloway, anti-war Bush-basher Cindy Sheehan, Truther conspiracy advocate Richard Falk, and radical race theorist Cornel West. Yet it was one of the movement’s “official advisers” whose name stood out: president Obama’s former spiritual advisor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

In earnest, the GMJ was little more than a modern-day, jihadist-inspired confrontation aimed eliminating the Jewish State. It was an aim revealed by the GMJ’s logo, showing a map of Palestine in place of Israel. The GMJ rejects any two-state solution with the nation they consider the epicenter of ”apartheid, ethnic cleansing and Judaisation.” Furthermore, the organizers insist that they are “renewing the struggle to liberate Palestine,” a particular expression that is a common euphemism for the destruction of Israel.

The organizers planned a four-pronged assault on Israel’s borders from four neighboring countries: Jordan, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. Additional protests were organized to take place at Israeli embassies in Europe and Arab countries. Palestinian activist Dr. Mustafa Barghouti made the inevitable disclaimer that always attends such assaults on Israel’s sovereignty. “This march is absolutely peaceful and non-violent, and we will try everything possible to prevent violence,” Barghouti said. This disclaimer was followed by the curious caveat: “Of course, if they use violence against us, the world should protest,” he adds. “But the march is absolutely peaceful and nobody will try to provoke violence.”

Of course unprovoked violence did break out. It was no more than what was expected considering the history of Palestinian activism: A May 15, 2011 demonstration on Nabka Day, the day when Palestinians mourn the establishment of the Jewish State in 1948, resulted in 15 deaths when protesters attempt to breach Israel’s border. A reprise of violence occurred June 5, 2011, on Naska Day, when Arab nations commemorate their defeat (or “setback”) by Israel in 1967. At least 23 people were killed during a protest near the Golan Heights, when Israeli troops once again prevented a border breach by Palestinian demonstrators coming from Syria.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a man with a long track record of racist and anti-Semitic statements, was a prefect fit for this latest Palestinian PR endeavor. And despite the fact that Wright was president Obama’s spiritual mentor for over twenty years, the White House has refrained from commenting on his involvement with a movement designed to produce more violence and more bloodshed. Wright long ago offered his reasoning for being off the president’s radar. “Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office,” said the Reverend during a 2009 interview. He also criticized the president at the time for not sending a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism, an annual, anti-Semitic hate-fest that unfailingly singles out Israel for condemnation. ”Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing (by) the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don’t want Barack talking like that because that’s anti-Israel,” Wright contended.

Yet the president’s silence on the issue is disturbing. As recently as March 5th, Mr. Obama assured American Jewish leaders that he “will always have Israel’s back.” Yet even if one assumes that such assurances are specifically limited to Iranian belligerence, the White House is undoubtedly aware that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei publicly expressed his support for the GMJ in February, that Iran established local committees to help organize it, and that the Iranian-backed Islamic Centre of England is one of the top European organizers of the event. How is it that the same president who is more than willing to lend his voice to a variety of issues, even a controversial racial case involving a single death in Florida, has nothing to say about an internationally-organized demonstration that presents such a clear assault to Israel’s existence?

At the very least, the president might have warned the demonstrators that a breach of Israeli borders is unacceptable. With respect to the countries allowing the demonstrators access to Israel’s borders, the president might have also expressed the idea that foreign aid contributions are tied to responsible behavior. And since Jeremiah Wright sits on the advisory board of the GMJ, the president could have re-established contact with Wright to express his concern.

None of it has happened. Furthermore, in a remarkable exchange on Tuesday with reporter Matt Lee, State Department spokesman Victoria Nuland revealed that the Obama administration does not consider Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel. “We are not going to prejudge the outcome of those negotiations, including the final status of Jerusalem,” said Nuland. The administration also “scrubbed” at least one photo caption (and possibly others as well) of Vice President Joe Biden. The Biden photo had previously stated he was dining in the “David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem, Israel.” The photo now reads simply “Jerusalem.” Administration apologists contend that the Bush administration was equally un-definitive regarding Jerusalem. But the attempt to equate Bush administration documents that avoided the issue with the Obama administration’s active efforts to alter documents is absurd.

Thus the Global March to Jerusalem, a march purporting “to change the nature of the confrontation by compelling the occupiers to face millions of demonstrators demanding Freedom for Palestine and its capital Jerusalem” from the “racist state of Israel” proceeded with no resistance from the President Obama — and perhaps tacit approval. In another time, the president might even have participated in such an anti-Israel crusade along with Wright — before it got politically inconvenient, anyway.

Thumbs down PA TV: Moses was a Muslim who led Muslims in Exodus from Egypt

Moses is a Jew as is common knowledge and recorded in G_d’s Word. Perhaps Muslims should read that record that has existed over a thousand years before Muhammad that could neither read nor write was born. All of G_d’s prophets came through the linage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Jews) as also recorded in said Holy Scriptures. Muslims have to resort to outright LIES in order to try to deceive people and support their unsupportable positions!

PA TV: Moses was a Muslim who led Muslims in Exodus from Egypt

No surprise here. As I explain at length in my forthcoming book Not Peace But A Sword, which should be out later this year, Islam appropriates the Biblical prophets and claims that they were Muslims who taught Islam (cf. Qur'an 3:67, regarding Abraham), and that their followers wickedly perverted their teachings to create Judaism and Christianity.

(Yet even Christianity predates Muhammad’s birth by over 600 years and Judaism by nearly 2000 years! Paparock)

Note also: this comes from Fatah, showing yet again how hollow their reputation of being "moderate" really is. For this represents the full delegitimization of Judaism, rendering Jews renegades who have rejected the truth, and enemies of Allah.

"Moses was a Muslim who led Muslims in Exodus from Egypt, says PA university lecturer on PA TV," by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik for Palestinian Media Watch, April 2:
...The following is the interview with Dr. Omar Ja'ara, lecturer at Al-Najah University in Nablus and specialist in Israeli affairs, on PA TV religion program:"We must make clear to the world that David in the Hebrew Bible is not connected to David in the Quran, Solomon in the Hebrew Bible is not connected to Solomon in the Quran, and neither is Saul or Joshua son of Nun [of the Bible].

We have a great leader, Saul, [in the Quran] who defeated the nation of giants and killed Goliath. This is a great Muslim victory. The Muslims of the Children of Israel went out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses, and unfortunately, many researchers deny the Exodus of those oppressed people who were liberated by a great leader, like Moses the Muslim, the believing leader, the great Muslim, who was succeeded by Saul, the leader of these Muslims in liberating Palestine.

This was the first Palestinian liberation through armed struggle to liberate Palestine from the nation of giants led by Goliath. This is our logic and this is our culture."

[PA TV (Fatah), Feb. 15, 2012]
