Exclamation Iranian Ayatollah: The 'Hidden Imam' Will Arrive In A Vessel 'Like A Spaceship'

Iranian Ayatollah:
The 'Hidden Imam' Will Arrive In A Vessel 'Like A Spaceship'

Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi recently answered questions about the arrival of the Mahdi – the Hidden Imam who is the equivalent of the Messiah in Shi'ite Islam. Answering the question "When the Mahdi is revealed, will he arrive with a sword?" he explained at length how the Mahdi's arrival will be high-tech, as befits the modern age.

The following are excerpts from Shirazi's response: [1]

Naser Makarem Shirazi (Image: En.rasanews.ir)

"It was said by Imam Sadegh [the Sixth Shi'ite Imam, circa. 700–765 C.E.]: 'When our Lord arrives, the land will be illuminated by divine light, and [God's] creations will no longer require sunlight.' The interpretation of this saying is that the issue of light and energy is expressed in that both in daytime and nighttime powerful lights can replace sunlight.

"Should we see this as a miracle? Daily life should be conducted according to the ongoing laws of nature, and not according to miracles – because miracles are extraordinary and are for [times of] need and exceptional circumstances...

"Another hadith states: With regards to [the Mahdi], God elevates low places and lowers high places, so that the entire world is visible to him like the palm of his hand...'

"Today we use satellites [and by means of them] cover extensive areas, so that anyone with a receiver can use them... In the time of the Mahdi's arrival, there will be a powerful apparatus, that may be difficult for us to imagine today, for transmitting images so that the entire world is visible like the palm of a hand. Without worldwide control by an intelligence [apparatus], there can be no unified global regime [as foretold that there will be when the Mahdi arrives], and no peace, security, and decency... Therefore, God grants him this tool... Once again I stress that this is a routine matter, and that it is inconceivable that it will come about based on a miracle; rather [it will come about] by means of ordinary tools that are based on scientific and industrial advances.

"Another hadith states: 'A bestial vessel is reserved for your Lord and Friend [the Mahdi]. What is the meaning of 'bestial vessel'? A cloud that is loud as thunder and fast as lightning, upon which he rides. Be aware that soon he will [appear] riding on clouds, and ascending to seven heavens and seven lands.' This does not refer to an ordinary cloud, as clouds are not vessels that can be sailed upon in outer space. [Clouds] travel near the atmosphere that is close to the earth, and they cannot attain great altitudes. Therefore, the meaning here is an extraordinary and very swift vessel that looks like a dense cloud in the sky; its sound is that of thunder and its power and speed is that of lightning. When it moves, it slashes the heart of the sky with extraordinary force, and in this way it can advance to any point in the firmament. Therefore, this is a super-modern vessel, and there is none like it today. It is like a spaceship and like other swift and amazing space vessels that are found [only] in stories today, but nobody knows how close [these vessels] come to truth and reality. Maybe it will be like [a spaceship] but in any case it is not a spaceship…

"When the Mahdi rules, the pure will have the height of freedom, and the criminals will be monitored – maybe so much so that sound waves will be detected from the walls of their houses, and when necessary it will be possible to understand what they say at home.

"Perhaps a century ago, this statement [about detecting sound waves] would have seemed like an unimaginable miracle. Yet today, some countries monitor traffic on the roads using radar, with no police present. Therefore, it is clear that during the global revolution of the Mahdi... there will be an unprecedented expansion of industry and technology."

Anyone who comes with Enlightenment will be the first one murdered by these same Mullahs who keep saying they are awaiting him. History repeats itself and these terrorist mullahs will do not different from what they have done in the past and murder any prophet, messenger, saint that crosses their path.

Naser Makarem Shirazi seems to have found some really cool top notch " smack ', he must have been a 'hippie' in a former life.

Lightbulb Muslim Cleric Says Messiah Returning On A Machine 'Like A Spaceship'

Muslim Cleric, Like Louis Farrakhan, Says Messiah Returning On A Machine 'Like A Spaceship'
by Gregory Tomlin

http://www.christianexaminer.com/art...ship/51012.htm

TEHRAN (Christian Examiner) – Shiite Muslims awaiting the return of the Mahdi – a messianic figure – can expect to see him return in a "spaceship" of sorts, Iran's Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi said in a recent interview (http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/9414.htm) about the apocalyptic figure.

According to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI - http://www.memri.org/), Shirazi said the figure's arrival will not be like in the olden days of Islam "with a sword." It will instead be "high-tech, as befits the modern age."

In Shiite Islam, the Mahdi – also called "the hidden imam (http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/261559/end-world-muhammad-mahdi-coming-dr-majid-rafizadeh)" because they believe he was born but disappeared – will return to cleanse the world of all evil in preparation for the final Day of Judgment. Shiites believe the Mahdi will be assisted in battling against a false messiah by Jesus.

“When it moves, it slashes the heart of the sky with extraordinary force, and in this way it can advance to any point in the firmament. Therefore, this is a super-modern vessel, and there is none like it today. It is like a spaceship and like other swift and amazing space vessels that are found [only] in stories today, but nobody knows how close [these vessels] come to truth and reality.”
- Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi

Though there is no description of any such figure in the Quran, several other Muslim writings (hadiths) contain information about the leader they believe will come. Sunnis also believe in a Mahdi who is to come.

Shirazi said one ancient source from the eighth century A.D. claimed the world would no longer need sunlight when the Mahdi comes because the land will be illuminated by "divine light."

"The interpretation of this saying is that the issue of light and energy is expressed in that both in daytime and nighttime powerful lights can replace sunlight," he said. In other words, the lights of the ship will provide light for humanity.

"Another hadith states: With regards to [the Mahdi], God elevates low places and lowers high places, so that the entire world is visible to him like the palm of his hand," he said.

"Today we use satellites [and by means of them] cover extensive areas, so that anyone with a receiver can use them .... In the time of the Mahdi's arrival, there will be a powerful apparatus that may be difficult for us to imagine today, for transmitting images so that the entire world is visible like the palm of a hand. Without worldwide control by an intelligence [apparatus], there can be no unified global regime [as foretold that there will be when the Mahdi arrives], and no peace, security, and decency... Therefore, God grants him this tool... Once again I stress that this is a routine matter, and that it is inconceivable that it will come about based on a miracle; rather [it will come about] by means of ordinary tools that are based on scientific and industrial advances."

Shirazi then discusses a "bestial vessel" which is reserved for the Mahdi.

"Bestial" means "like an animal," but it also means "savage" or "punishing." It isn't clear which Shirazi meant at the time, but he described the teaching of a particular hadith in detail. He said the vessel is as "loud as thunder and fast as lightning."

The Mahdi, he said, rides on it.

"Be aware that soon he will [appear] riding on clouds, and ascending to seven heavens and seven lands. This does not refer to an ordinary cloud, as clouds are not vessels that can be sailed upon in outer space. It is like a spaceship and like other swift and amazing space vessels that are found [only] in stories today, but nobody knows how close [these vessels] come to truth and reality."

“Who do you think then that you're dealing with, if you're the best in the world but you're thousands of years behind the technology on those wheels? I'm here to tell you, you are dealing with God. You have no weapon that can handle what is already prepared to take you out.”
- Louis Farrakhan, Nation of Islam

Shirazi said the craft, however, may not actually be a spaceship.

When the Mahdi arrives, according to the cleric, he will restore peace and criminals will be monitored using advanced technologies that listen into people's homes, so it "will be possible to understand what they [criminals, infidels] say at home."

While such discussions may seem foreign to westerners and Christians, other voices have said similar things, including Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam.

In August 2015, Farrakhan said – as he has many times before – that "wheels" in the sky (http://www.christianexaminer.com/art...ades/49336.htm) (such as in Ezekiel 1). He said the wheels, or UFOs, are instruments of divine judgment on white America.

"All of the governments are releasing their files on UFOs. America's holding back, [but] other nations are informing their people of the reality of what is above their heads," Farrakhan said.

"Who do you think then that you're dealing with, if you're the best in the world but you're thousands of years behind the technology on those wheels? I'm here to tell you, you are dealing with God. You have no weapon that can handle what is already prepared to take you out," Farrakhan said.

However, in Farrakhan's version of the tale of the Muslim messiah, it will not be an unknown or hidden figure. It will be Elijah Muhammad, whom he regards as the messiah.

Exclamation It Is Beginning; Be Not Deceived.

The Great Coming Is Beginning; Be Not Deceived.
As predicted in Hebrew and Christian Scripture near the "End of Days" a deception would come upon the world so great and so powerful as to deceive the very elect. Then shall an evil one stand in the new temple of the Israel and declair he is God. This is yet to come to pass as the third temple is yet to be built but is nearer than many think. Paparock

The Mahdi In a UFO

A prominent Iranian ayatollah says the Mahdi, the end-times Muslim savior, will come back in a spaceship with the sound “of thunder and its power and speed is that of lightning.”

http://www.globalwatchweekly.com/articlea01sep16.htm

Actually, his recent explanation wasn’t completely clear.

“It is like a spaceship and like other swift and amazing space vessels that are found [only] in stories today, but nobody knows how close [these vessels] come to truth and reality. Maybe it will be like [a spaceship] but in any case it is not a spaceship,” he said.

His description was discovered in an Iranian news report by the Middle East Media Research Institute, which monitors and analyzes media reports in the region.

The comments came from Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, who operates his own website to promote his views.

He was responding to a question about the “arrival of the Mahdi – the Hidden Imam who is the equivalent of the Messiah in Shiite Islam,” MEMRI reported.

“He explained at length how the Mahdi’s arrival will be high-tech, as befits the modern age,” MEMRI said.

“House of War: Islam’s Jihad Against the World” conveys what the West needs to know about Islam and the violent, expansionary ideology that seeks the subjugation and destruction of other faiths, cultures and systems of government

His comments included:

“It was said by Imam Sadegh [the sixth Shiite imam, circa. 700–765 C.E.]: ‘When our Lord arrives, the land will be illuminated by divine light, and [God’s] creations will no longer require sunlight.’ The interpretation of this saying is that the issue of light and energy is expressed in that both in daytime and night time powerful lights can replace sunlight.”

“Today we use satellites [and by means of them] cover extensive areas, so that anyone with a receiver can use them… In the time of the Mahdi’s arrival, there will be a powerful apparatus, that may be difficult for us to imagine today, for transmitting images so that the entire world is visible like the palm of a hand. Yet today, some countries monitor traffic on the roads using radar, with no police present. Therefore, it is clear that during the global revolution of the Mahdi… there will be an unprecedented expansion of industry and technology.”

During a speech made in front of the United Nations in September 2008, Ahmadinejad beseeched Allah to “hasten the emergence” of the Mahdi.

“Oh mighty Lord,” he said, “I pray to you to hasten the emergence of your last repository (a euphemism for Mahdi), the promised one, that perfect and pure human being, the one that will fill this world with justice and peace.”

It was reported that Ahmadinejad’s direct reference to the Mahdi left the audience of diplomats with their mouths hanging open.

So it was probably non suprising that a number of years later the Iranian government produced a bone chilling documentary about an Islamic prophecy in which they as leaders would wage war to bring about the arrival of the Hidden Imam, which the film says is “very close” to happening. The documentary video, "The Coming is Near," released by the Iranian government promotes the idea that the Mahdi, an apocalyptic Muslim messiah, is about to return to usher a new Islamic civilization. The documentary is based on Twelver Muslim theology to which many of Iran's highest leaders subscribe.

Twelver Muslims are a branch of Shia (Shiite) Islam. Shiites and Sunnis, two factions prominent in the Iraq War, split after the death of Mohammed in A.D. 632 in a disagreement over who his successor should be. Sunnis, the dominant branch of Islam, believe that leadership should be by elected leaders, while Shiites believe that Muslim leaders should come from Mohammed's family line.

The Shia believe that there were twelve such leaders, called imams, although many Shia religious leaders use the title today. The twelfth imam, Imam al-Mahdi, lived in Samarra, Iraq and was last seen in A.D. 874. Twelvers believe that the Mahdi is in "occultation," in the spirit world, where he is still alive. They believe that he will one day return during a time of world chaos to usher in a worldwide Islamic caliphate (kingdom).

According to the Iranian documentary, the second coming of the Mahdi will occur in the near future. Although the Mahdi is not mentioned in the Quran, his return is discussed the hadiths, collections of narrative sayings by Islamic leaders. Some of the signs of the Mahdi's return discussed in the film include fear, earthquakes, and sedition throughout the world. Cultural decay, such as adultery, homosexuality, and women not wearing the hejab (head scarf and/or veil) are also cited.

The film addresses recent world events and singles out the United States and Israel as sources of evil in the world. It also specifically points to several nations that the film's producers believe are keys to the return of the Mahdi. Most obviously, Iraq, home to many of the world's Shiites, is mentioned. Twelvers believe that Iraq will be central to the conflicts that precede the Mahdi's return as well as the eventual capitol of the Mahdi's worldwide Islamic caliphate. In the final battle against Israel, Iraqi forces will march under flags that say "Alghovah."

The film also mentions Yemen, one of many Arab nations where protesters are demanding the resignation of the ruling authoritarian government. The film focuses on the Shiite guerrillas allied with al- Qaeda. Yemen was the origin of several bombs sent to the U.S. and U.K. in October 2010. According to the hadiths about the Mahdi, Yemen will be the embroiled in a revolution prior to the Mahdi's second coming. When the Mahdi returns, one of his first battles will be against an army of one of the Yemeni tribes. Yemeni soldiers will be among the first to enter Mecca after the Mahdi's return.

The hadiths also refer to turmoil in Egypt. The filmmakers say that that the people of Egypt were prophesied to rise up and kill their leader, plunging the country into turmoil. The people of Egypt in 2011 ousted their dictator, Hosni Mubarak, but they did not kill him. The Egyptian revolution and take over by the Muslim Brotherhood had been relatively peaceful until 2013 when there was an uprising against the Muslim Brotherhood forcing it out of power.

Saudi Arabia, the location of Mecca, also is found the film's interpretation of Islamic prophecy. The hadiths mention a royal line that some Muslim theologians believe is the house of Saud. The death of a Saudi king named Abdullah was one of the key signs of the Mahdi's return. It stated that the death of Saudi King Abdullah would be a major sign that the destruction of Israel and arrival of the Mahdi are imminent.

The film almost immediately states, “Whoever guarantees the death of King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia, I will guarantee the imminent reappearance of the Mahdi,” a not-so-subtle call for his assassination. The film later refers to his “uncertain condition,” as at the time he was ill and at 86 years old his demise was not far off. So when King Abdullah died in early 2014 it clearly sent Islamic eschatology of the richter scale.

It is perhaps unsurprising to anyone familiar with the Middle East that the Twelvers believe that Palestine (Israel) is also central to their end-time prophecies. Imam Ali, the first imam after the Sunni-Shia split, said that Jews would come from the west and take control of Palestine while Arabs were divided. According the film, Jewish control would last "until the time that the Arabs rid themselves of the influence of others, take back control of their affairs, and once again have strong determination. At that time, they shall conquer the land of Palestine and the Arabs will be victorious and united." The destruction of Israel is the most important event marking the Mahdi's return.
