A terrorist opened fire at the Sarona Market in Tel Aviv Wednesday evening, killing three and wounding 6.

One victim is reportedly in critical condition, while two are in serious condition, MDA has reported.

The venue of the attack, Sarona, an old Templar village incorporated into Tel Aviv, is a popular tourist destination.

MDA officials report that the shootings occurred around Kaplan, HaArba, and Carlebach streets.

Witnesses say shots were fired at two different locations within the market, raising the possibility that a second shooter was involved.

One terrorist involved in the the attack has been neutralized.

Security forces at the scene are searching the area for additional terrorists.

Police have closed off nearby roads and have requested the public to avoid Sarona and the surrounding area.

United Hatzalah volunteer Yechiel Miller described the scene shortly after the attack:

“When I arrived at the scene I saw a woman who was unconscious and not breathing and in critical condition. We began resuscitation efforts. We also treated numerous other individuals who suffered gunshot wounds and wounds from shrapnel."

This is a developing story.

May Justice be rendered! Islamic Terrorists have again proven how much they hate Jews. No matter how much they pretend that they are all "people of the book"

Hamas vows more Ramadan Attacks
18 hospitalized after shooting spree at Sarona Market; Netanyahu, Liberman meet security chiefs; world condemns horrific killings
BY TIMES OF ISRAEL STAFF

Times of Israel Police spokeswoman Merav Lapidot: “Two terrorists were involved, both were neutralized. One is wounded, the other’s condition is unclear at the moment. All these details are preliminary.” One bystander tells Israel Radio the Sarona Market shooters were dressed as Haredi men.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed at Ben-Gurion International Airport from Moscow soon after the shooting and headed straight to the Defense Ministry headquarters near the shooting for consultations with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, Israel Police chief Roni Alsheich, Shin Bet head Nadav Argaman and other officials.

Channel 2 reports one of the suspected terrorists who opened fire on the crowd at the Sarona Market in central Tel Aviv is moderately wounded and being treated at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, where eight of the victims are also being treated.

From Shoebat.com, photo of the two terrorists who allegedly are cousins from the town of Yatta near Hebron:

In April, Israeli police moved to close down the upscale Sarona Market at the center of Tel Aviv over fears that the commercial center was not sufficiently secure, but the site’s management said it would stay open.

MUSLIMS CELEBRATING THE ATTACK:

The popular compound is home to Israel’s largest indoor culinary market. Its 8,700 square meters (93,000 square feet) of market space hosts 91 shops of all varieties. At the time, police asked the Tel Aviv Municipality to revoke Sarona’s business license, arguing that lax security put the visiting public at risk.

An eyewitness tells Channel 2 that he saw the shooter open fire. When he ran out of bullets, he threw the firearm under a chair and fled toward Carlebach Street.

Lightbulb Trump on Palestinian celebrations of terror: 'despicable!'

Trump on Palestinian celebrations of terror: 'despicable!'
Donald Trump notes fireworks in Hevron following murderous attack in Tel Aviv, addresses Palestinian incitement.
By Gil Ronen

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Ne...0#.V1nfJtIrLIU

Donald Trump issued a scathing condemnation of Wednesday's terror rampage in Tel Aviv.

"I condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the outrageous terrorist shootings that took the lives of at least four innocent civilians and wounded at least twenty others in Tel Aviv yesterday," he wrote. "The Israeli security forces’ investigation is ongoing, but some facts have already emerged — and they are grim.

"Just as fast as the condolences arrive from the civilized world is the praise arising out of the uncivilized one. Hamas praised the attack, calling the attackers 'heroes.' Reports out of Hebron indicate that residents of the terrorists’ hometown lit up the night sky with celebratory fireworks. One Palestinian 'news organization' even referred to the shootings, in which the assailants dressed up as observant Jews, as a 'Ramadan treat.' The leader of Hamas called the injured terrorist a 'hero.' How despicable!

"The American people stand strong with the people of Israel, who have suffered far too long from terrorism. Israel’s security is a matter of paramount importance to me and the American people.

"We understand all too well the unspeakable horror that terrorism unleashes. To address it — and address it we must! — we must recognize the parallel horror of the culture of religious hatred that permeates many Palestinian quarters. From schools that indoctrinate toddlers to grow up to kill Israelis to the daily menu of hate that spews forth from various 'news organizations,' change is long overdue in the Palestinian territories.

"Let us begin the arduous task of creating a future where peace can take root and terror finds no refuge.

"I express my deepest condolences to the families of the four Israelis who were murdered, as well as my wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded."

CNN retracts headline casting doubt on 'terror' in Tel Aviv
The word ‘terror’ in headline on Tel Aviv attack was placed in quotes.
The network now admits that it was ‘undoubtedly’ terror.

CNN has retracted a headline that reported on Wednesday's Tel Aviv terror attack and placed the word “terror” in quotation marks.

A previous – now removed – tweet appeared to call into question the Tel Aviv attack as an act of terrorism. It undoubtedly was,” wrote the network on its Twitter feed at 4:05 PM Thursday.

Wednesday's report did not mention once that the shootings were an act of terror.

The biased report caused outrage among readers, and Israeli diplomats reportedly let CNN know they were angry and expected the network to do something about the matter.

And here is the repugnant position of Obama and his State department! Well Mr Obama, maybe you should ease TSA security checks on passengers and be more sensitive to feelings of innocent passengers? Ya think its worth taking drastic measures to insure security Obama? I think you you do seeing how the TSA makes people strip down. But obviously the security of Israel is far less important than the feelings of the Muslims. We get it. You dont care for Israel much, if at all.

Despite condemning Wednesday terrorist shooting attack in the Sarona Market in Tel Aviv, the State Department on Thursday said that Israel's response to the attack should be designed in a way that does not punish innocent Palestinians.

"We understand the Israeli government's desire to protect its citizens ... and we strongly support that right, but we would hope that any measures it takes are designed to also take into consideration the impact on Palestinian citizens that are trying to go about their daily lives," State Department spokesman Mark Toner told a news briefing, according to the Reuters news agency.

The comments were a response to Israel’s actions following the attack, which included freezing work entry visas for some 204 members of the attackers’ extended family.

Israel also rescinded some 83,000 entry permits given to Arabs from Judea and Samaria for Ramadan. Goodwill gestures to Gaza Arabs, including travel permits to Jerusalem to participate in Ramadan prayers on the Temple Mount, were also rescinded.

On Wednesday night, hours after the attack, Toner issued a statement condemning it and referring to it as “cowardly”.

“The United States condemns today’s horrific terrorist attack in Tel Aviv in the strongest possible terms. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of those killed and our hopes for a quick recovery for those wounded,” said Toner.

“These cowardly attacks against innocent civilians can never be justified. We are in touch with Israeli authorities to express our support and concern,” he added.

Lightbulb One Day Prior To Tel Aviv Terror Attack

June 10, 2016
Special Dispatch No.6468
http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/9248.htm

One Day Prior To Tel Aviv Terror Attack, Article On Hamas Website Called Ramadan 'The Month Of Jihad,' 'The Pinnacle Of Islam'

On June 7, 2016, the day before the shooting attack in Tel Aviv in which four were killed and several wounded, Hamas's military wing, the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, published an article on its website encouraging jihad and martyrdom during the month of Ramadan, which began this week. The article, titled "Ramadan – The Month of Jihad, Fighting and Victory over the Enemies," noted that throughout the ages Ramadan had been the time of the greatest Muslim victories, beginning from the days of the Prophet Muhammad. Allah, it said, had commanded, and urged, the Muslims to wage jihad, for it is the pinnacle of Islam. The article stressed that Muslims' sad situation today is due to their abandonment of jihad, and called on them to follow the example set out in their glorious, jihad-saturated history.

The following are excerpts from the article:[1]

Image that accompanied the article

"Ramadan is the month of jihad, fighting, and fasting. Therefore, after the jihad fighter dedicates himself to the study of Islam by day he sets forth to defend his homeland, Palestine, by night. This month has seen the actualization of exceptional Islamic victories. Today, the ummah is bleeding in many countries, and none care about the deep wound of Palestine and the oppressive siege on the Gaza Strip.

"About a year ago, the Palestinian resistance, chiefly the Al-Qassam Brigades, fought the most impressive battles of heroism and martyrdom. Al-Qassam's jihad fighters, as they were fasting, dealt the enemy fatal blows in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation Eaten Straw [the 2015 Gaza war], and Allah helped them achieve such a great number of victories that they [shattered] the myth of the undefeatable [Israeli] army, expelling it, defeated, from the Gaza Strip.

"Jihad for the sake of Allah is the pinnacle of Islam. By this means, honor is acquired in this world and in the world to come. It is one of the best and most noble deeds. The Muslims became inferior only when they abandoned jihad and pinned their hopes on this world [and not on the world to come]; that is when the enemies fell upon them...'

"The mention of jihad during this blessed month is a mention of a glorious past, whose [example] we must follow in order to emerge from a crisis that has lasted so long that we now lag behind all nations, and despite our large number, have become as worthless as scum upon water. Allah removed our enemies' fear [of us] and placed weakness in our hearts [that is embodied by] a love of this world and a hatred of death.

"Mentioning the past should lead [us] to learn its lessons and benefit from it as we create our present and outline a glorious course for our future. This is because Allah the Almighty commanded us to wage jihad, urged us to do so, and wanted it so much that he named anyone sacrificing their life for Him as having sold their soul to Allah – and what a pleasant transaction this is[2] ...

"The blessed month of Ramadan is the month of jihad, and saw the two most important battles in the life of the Prophet [Muhammad]. The first is the great Battle of Badr [624 CE], which was the divine proof by means of which Allah distinguished truth from lie, and which led to Muslim honor and steadfastness. The second is the Conquest of Mecca, by virtue of which the first renunciation of Islam was defeated, the banners of paganism in the holy city [of Mecca] fell, and Islam became invincible throughout in the Arabian Peninsula.

"However, [despite] the life of humiliation that our Arab world is living today, since it abandoned jihad, there is still hope. [As a hadith attributed to the Prophet Muhammad states:] 'A group from among my ummah still fights and stands for truth until the Day of Judgement.'

"Likewise, Ramadan is a way station for educating and comprehensively training and preparing the soul to enter the vortex of jihad. For the jihad fighters excel during this month, and make [this month] a school and a way station in order to fill in the cracks in their weakness and reinforce their means, so as to become closer to Allah and heed the calls of jihad."

Endnotes:

[1] Alqassam.ps, June 7, 2016.

[2] Allusion to Koran 9:111: "Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment."

Angry Sunni Cleric Defends Tel Aviv Terrorists

Sunni Cleric Defends Tel Aviv Terrorists
By JTA

http://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/Sunni-...rorists-456459

On Thursday, the attack prompted the United Nations Security Council to issue its strongest condemnation of Palestinian terror since September’s uptick in attacks.

Israel imposed a blanket closure on Palestinians in the West Bank following the killing of four Israelis in a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv, which drew condemnations internationally but also praise by the well-known Muslim cleric Yusuf al-Qardawi.

The closure means no entry by Palestinians into Israel will be permitted until Sunday, during the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. Only urgent medical cases will be allowed through and passages between Israel and the Gaza Strip will also remain closed, the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement Friday.

The steps follow the slaying of Michael Feige, Ilana Naveh, Ido Ben Ari, Mila Mishayev at a café in Tel Aviv’s Sarona compound during a shooting attack by two Palestinian cousins from the Hebron area, Mohammad Ahmad Mahamra and Khaled Mahamra.

On Thursday, the attack prompted the United Nations Security Council to issue its strongest condemnation of Palestinian terror since September’s uptick in attacks.

The council condemned “in the strongest terms” the attack and expressed its “deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of Israel.” The text of the council’s statement added that “terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.”

But Yusuf al-Qardawi, a Qatar-based religious authority and Muslim Brotherhood leader who is one of Sunni Islam’s most highly-regarded personalities, wrote on Twitter following the attacks that “Israel was always the first to do evil and mischief, and the resistance is trying to respond to defend itself. This is crystal clear and undeniable.”

All the victims were gunned down except for Ilana Naba, 39, whose body had no bullet holes, police said. She is believed to have died of a cardiac arrest during the shooting. Following her family’s objection to an autopsy, Israel Police petitioned the Supreme Court obtain permission to perform the procedure anyway but the court rejected the request, Army Radio report Friday. Naba, who had four children with her husband Alon, was buried Friday.

Presumptive Democratic U.S. presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s nominee, both condemned the attack.

“I condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Tel Aviv today,” Clinton said in a statement. “I send my deepest condolences to the families of those killed and I will continue to pray for the wounded. I stand in solidarity with the Israeli people in the face of these ongoing threats, and in unwavering support of the country’s right to defend itself.”

Trump wrote on Facebook: “Just as fast as the condolences arrive from the civilized world is the praise arising out of the uncivilized one. Hamas praised the attack, calling the attackers ‘heroes’.” He added he found this “despicable.”

Hundreds of Israelis and foreign nationals visited the Sarona compound, a central park with many restaurants and shops, where candles in memory of the victims were lit in memorial events that the compounds’ management helped organize. On Friday, 20 foreign ambassadors visited the part, along with locals carrying Israeli flags.

The United States’ ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, visited the site Thursday evening. “Heartening to see so many people at Sarona Market, in defiance of terror. We stand alongside you Israel,” he wrote on Twitter.

Angry Palestinians Cheer Tel Aviv Slaughter

PALESTINIANS CHEER TEL AVIV SLAUGHTER
How Israel's "peace partners" react when women and children are ruthlessly murdered.
By Ari Lieberman

http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2631...-ari-lieberman

The calm in Tel Aviv was shattered Wednesday night when two Arab gunmen in their 20s from the Palestinian Authority-controlled village of Yatta drew automatic weapons and began to systematically gun down every civilian in sight. When the carnage was over, four people (http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/The...hooting-456346) – two men and two women – were dead and about a dozen others were wounded, three of them critically. Both terrorists were caught alive, though one sustained serious wounds during his apprehension. Israeli doctors performed life-saving emergency surgery on him while his victims were either dead or dying.

The blood on the pavement hadn’t even dried before “Palestinians,” as is their custom, celebrated the “heroic Tel Aviv operation.” In Palestinian lexicon, terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians – men, women and children – are routinely referred to as “heroic” or “martyrdom operations.”

As Israelis were burying their dead, celebratory fireworks were going off in Hamas-controlled Gaza while elsewhere, in the PA-controlled West Bank, Palestinian Arabs were cheering and passing out sweets in recognition of their comrades’ bestial slaughter. Even the so-called “moderate” Palestinian President for Life, Mahmoud Abbas, couldn’t bring himself to call the Tel Aviv massacre, “terrorism” or “murder.” Instead, all he was able to muster was half-hearted disapproval. He issued a repulsive and disingenuous (http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=18149) statement noting that the PA is opposed “to any ‘operation’ that harms civilians by anybody, regardless of the justifications.” Note use of the word “operation” to describe wanton violence and depravity.

The Obama administration predictably gave Abbas a free pass and did not bother challenging his fake and rather pathetic statement of disapproval. This is an administration that has time and again failed to hold the PA to normal standards of morality and have them account for their aberrant behavior. Instead, the administration is besotted by Israeli “settlements” as though this was the cause of all the world’s ills. The administration deceitfully overlooks the fact that blame for this terror attack and many others rests squarely on the shoulders of Abbas and his Palestinian Authority which encourages incitement through official and unofficial channels. In every Palestinian venue and forum, in print and social media, Jews are routinely referred to as apes, pigs, monkeys, thieves and child killers.

Ironically, the attack comes on the heels of several Israeli goodwill gestures to the Palestinians, including the issuance of nearly 90,000 travel permits, allowing Palestinians to travel to Israel in deference to the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The Palestinians in turn responded by blowing people away in a café, giving new meaning to the old adage of “no good deed goes unpunished.”

Truth Revolt’s Tiffany Gabbay described (http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/terr...-dance-streets) the terrorists as worse than animals “because even animals do not kill for sadistic pleasure.” That assessment is accurate. The horrific CCTV footage of the attack reveals the true depths of their depravity. After shooting a civilian, who is seen lying motionless on the floor, one of the terrorist is observed gratuitously throwing (See Video #1 Below) a heavy object directly on the man’s head, causing the lifeless body to jolt. It was a sickening sight even by Palestinian standards of depravity.

More troubling however, is the jubilant reaction from the Palestinian street. This is a society that revels in gore and bloodshed. It is a society that celebrates death – death of Jews and of American citizens. Following the September 11 attacks (See Video # 2 Below) that resulted in the deaths of 3,000 people, Palestinians cheered. Old women were seen ululating while men danced, clapped, chanted Allahuakbar (what else?) and handed out sweets to mark the “joyous” event. Following the Boston Marathon bombing (http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/1861...-ari-lieberman), they repeated the macabre spectacle, reveling in the murder of innocents.

Arab apologists have attempted to justify the attacks, placing the blame not on the attackers but rather their victims, obscenely claiming that the “occupation” prompted the terrorists to act like bloody savages. They should be reminded however, that there was no “occupation” in 1920, 1921, 1929 and 1936 when Arabs perpetrated violent pogroms against Jewish citizens living under the British mandate.

Those advocating for Palestinian statehood and independence should take note of Palestinian societal responses to acts of barbarism and savagery. Societies are capable of producing monsters but their deviant actions are reviled and condemned by the majority. But in the Palestinian case, the opposite holds true. They take pleasure in hearing news of butchery inflicted on civilians. It happened after 9-11. It happened after the Boston marathon attack and it happened after the Tel Aviv café attack.

A society that collectively cheers when women and children are ruthlessly murdered and revels in gore and death is undeserving of statehood. This macabre mindset represents the single largest obstacle to peace and until it can be altered, negotiations are pointless.
